This research was conducted to analyze the water physical and chemical parameters of Ie Sayang Lake for fish culture development area using floating net cages. The observations of water physical and chemical parameters were finds out from April to June 2021 at four stations. The recorded data of water physic-chemical parameters included temperature, current velocity, dissolved oxygen, water depth, pH and turbidity. The data obtained then scored by matching the data values with the criteria for the suitability of waters for fish culture in floating net cage. The results showed that the condition of the water physical and chemical parameters in Lake Ie Sayang is not suitable to be developed as a fish culture area using floating net cage. The water parameter values during research namely temperatur (30,1oC to 31,9oC), current velocity (15 to 19,5 cm/s), dissolved oxygen (2,86 to 5,25 mg/l), water depth (1,08 to 1,93 m), pH (6,13 to 6,35) and water tubidity (0,47 to 0,58 m).

Sampah plastik masih menjadi masalah utama bagi masyarakat yang belum terselesaikan karena masih rendahnya tingkat daur ulang dan kurangnya penanganan yang tepat di lingkungan masyarakat maupun sekolah. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah sebagai upaya menanggulangi sampah plastik di lingkungan Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri 6 Meulaboh Aceh Barat dengan memberikan edukasi tentang praktik ecobrik dan memunculkan vibes positif kepada siswa untuk mengelola sampah plastik menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfaat. The objective of the present study was to determine the optimal dose substitution of water hyacinth flour (Eichhornia crassipes) in feed on the growth performance of Bileh (Rasbora sp.) fingerlings. The Completely Randomized Design (CRD) used in this study consisted of four treatments and three replications. Four doses of Eichhornia crassipes were tested: P0 = Feed without substitution of fermented water hyacinth flour as control, P1 = The substitution of fermented water hyacinth flour 5% in feed, P2 = The substitution of fermented water hyacinth flour 10 % in feed, P3 = The substitution of fermented water hyacinth flour 15% in feed. Chlorophyll-a has an important role in determining the trophic status and estimation of the fertility level of water. The aim of this study was to analyze the variability of the concentration of chlorophyll-a on the coast of Southwest Aceh. This study uses remote sensing technology using Aqua MODIS imagery, the image used is an annual Level 3 Standard Mapped Image (SMI) chlorophyll-a image with a period of 7 years from 2015 to 2021 and has a spatial resolution of 4 km. The image is processed using software, namely SeaDAS and ArcMap. The results of this study showed that the distribution of the highest annual chlorophyll-a concentration was in 2019 at 0.29 – 2.27 mg/m3, and the lowest chlorophyll-a concentration was found in 2020 ranging from 0.29 – 1.02 mg/m3. The average concentration of chlorophyll-a in Southwest Aceh waters for 7 years (2015-2021) shows a low chlorophyll-a concentration ranging from 0.29 to 1.22 mg/m3 and belongs to oligotrophic and mesotrophic waters

Lake Ie Sayang provides habitat to several variety of aquatic animals including small fish such as Rasbora sp. However, their existences in nature are increasingly decline due to overfishing and degradation of its natural habitat. The objective of this study was to investigate some habitat characteristics, biological and ecological aspects of bileh fish (Rasbora sp.). Water quality parameters were recorded in situ and fish samples were collected from the water in four stations during April to July 2021. Fish sex ratio and body length-weight were measured ex situ. The data are presented in table and analyzed descriptively. The result revealed that this fish was mainly found at station 1. This station is characterized by the presence of several aquatic plants as feeding ground and fish sanctuary. This fish was easy to find in the mid-water level to water surface and near the land. Minapadi is a fish rearing system in rice fields that is carried out with rice plants. This study aims to increase the income of farmers with high productivity of rice yields and increase the production of giant prawns. The method used is a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experiment with 3 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were: P1 = stocking density of 100 birds/plot, P2 = stocking density of 200 birds/plot, P3 = stocking density of 300 birds/plot. This research was conducted for 90 days. Parameters observed were rice productivity and growth. The results showed that the best treatment was P2 = stocking density of 200 birds/plot. by producing an average value of rice productivity of 5 kg/50 m2 and an average value of growth of giant prawns of 4.72%.

This study aimed to determine the optimal salinity and calcium levels in rearing media to increase the growth of tinfoil barb seed (Barbonymus schwanenfeldii). The experiment design was arranged in factorial completely randomized design with three replications. The treatment included three media salinity levels, that is, 0 ppt, 3 ppt, 6 ppt and four addition calcium, that is, 0 mg L"1, 10 mg L"1, 20 mg L"1, and 30 mg L"1. Fish stocking density was 1 individu L"1 with an average length of 2.00±0.03 cm and an average initial weight of 0.33 ± 0.05 g. The culture period for one cycle of fish farming was 40 days. The result showed the combination of 3 ppt salinity media and addition 20 mg L"1 calcium was the best rearing media to increase the growth of tengadak fish, that the parameters of daily average growth rate was 6.54±0.19 % and growth of absolute length was 3.49±0.03 cm. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the application of a combination of gamal leaf flour and eggs in commercial feed on the feed quality and feed efficiency of nirwana tilapia ( Oreochromis niloticus ) . The completely randomized design method was used in this study with four treatments and four replications. The treatments studied were pellet without application of combination of gamal leaf flour and eggs (P0), pellet with combination gamal leaf flour 10 % / kg of feed and eggs (P1), pellet with combination gamal leaf flour 15 % / kg of feed and eggs (P2) and pellet with combination gamal leaf flour 20 % / kg of feed and eggs (P3). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui pengaruh pemberian tepung kulit udang pada pakan komersil terhadap tingkat kecerahan warna ikan komet ( Carrasius auratus ). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Teknologi Produksi Benih dan Pakan Ikan. Rancangan percoban yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dimana terdiri dari 4 perlakuan 4 ulangan, A0 = 100% pakan komersil (Kontrol), A1 = Tepung kulit udang 10 gram/90 gram pakan komersil A2 = pakan Tepung kulit udang 20 gram/(80 gram) pakan komersil A3 = Tepung kulit udang 30 gram/(70 gram) pakan komersil. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the giving candlenut oil (aleurites moluccanus) in commercial feed on feed conversion ratio and feed efficiency of bileh fish (Rasbora sp.). The completely randomized design method was used in this study with four treatments and three replications. The treatments studied were pellet without the giving candlenut oil (P0), pellet with the giving candlenut oil 5%/kg of feed (P1), pellet with the giving candlenut oil 10%/kg of feed (P2) and pellet with the giving candlenut oil 15%/kg of feed (P3). The objective of the present study was to evaluate the giving of baker yeast and taurine mixture in culture media on the population density of Daphnia sp. . The completely randomized design method was used in this study with four treatments and four replications. The treatments studied were the giving of chicken manure 1 g/l as control (P0), the giving of baker yeast and taurine mixture 1 g/l (P1), the giving of baker yeast and taurine mixture 2,5 g/l (P2), and the giving of baker yeast and taurine mixture 4 g/l (P3). The application of the research results was carried out on the program of application of appropriate technology for automatic fish feed and automatic bird repellent on the Minapadi jajar legowo system which is a system of planting rice with fish cultivation in one rice field area simultaneously and the jajar legowo planting system with a spacing of 25 cm . The technology used is automatic feeding and automatic bird repellent. Automatic feeding is done by using a mini water pump that has been modified with the help of a digital timer so that the feed automatically dispenses the feed at the time we specify, which is 3 times a day. Tujuan Pengabdian Berbasis Riset Universitas Teuku Umar ini adalah untuk mengaplikasikan hasil penelitian riset tim pengusul untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kecamatan Beutong, Nagan Raya. Penerapan hasil riset dilakukan pada program kegiatan Teknologi milenial (Minapadi legowo dengan ikan lokal) yang merupakan sistem menanam padi dengan budidaya ikan di dalam satu areal persawahan secara bersamaan. Teknologi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan hasil petani dengan produktifitas hasil padi yang tinggi dan meningkatkan produksi ikan lokal. Kegiatan dilakukan selama 5 bulan bertempat di Kecamatan Beutong Nagan Raya. Hasil yang diamati meliputi produksi padi dan produksi ikan pada sistem minapadi. Produksi padi tanam legowo 2 : 1 memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap parameter hasil produksi padi (ton ha‾¹) yaitu (3.04 ton ha‾¹). Sedangkan bobot ikan/petak sebesar (242.25 g) dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup ikan /petak yaitu (65.27 %).

If done seriously, betta fish farming has bright prospects and can increase people's income. Betta fish farming can run with minimal capital but produces promising profits. However, in cultivating betta fish, many cultivators encounter various obstacles, especially for beginners. One of the obstacles encountered in the cultivation of betta fish was the hatchery phase. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, direct interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and the results were elaborated based on descriptive analysis. Perlakuan yang diteliti adalah kultur Daphnia sp. dengan pemberian air endapan dedak fermentasi pada media (A), kultur Daphnia sp. dengan pemberian air endapan kotoran ayam pada media (B) dan kultur Daphnia sp. dengan pemberian bakteri merah pada media (C). The experiment design was used  completely randomized design with four treatments and four replications. The treatments studied were 100 % pellet without the addition of Tubifex sp. (A), 95 % pellet with the addition of  Tubifex sp. 5 % (B), 90 % pellet with the addition of  Tubifex sp. 10 % (C) and 85 % pellet with the addition of  Tubifex sp. 15 % (D). Patin seed stocking density was 1 individu/l with the length of  3-4 cm and weight of  0,15-0,28 g. The culture period for one cycle of fish farming was 40 days.
