Renegade Rhetoric
Please stop trimming the condensed Renegade Rhetoric content from characters who appear in other crossover fiction. Per community portal and Chris McFeely's proposal: "Those who only appear in Renegade Rhetoric get consolidated into a list with brief description of their Renegade Rhetoric adventures with links to the RR/src archive. And for the characters who do appear in crossover fiction, their Renegade Rhetoric adventures get that brief description with link to archive." We've had so many arguments about this in the past, do you REALLY want to reopen this wound by changing the rules that were debated and agreed on ad nauseum? --Giggidy (talk) 23:18, 27 April 2016 (EDT)
- I brought it up over on the Allspark, and the general consensus was that Renegade Rhetoric minutiae like a character mentioning Canada didn't belong on the wiki,. Still, I'm not going to be the one responsible for starting Gobot War II. Grum (talk) 23:22, 27 April 2016 (EDT)
Timelines Toxitron
Toxitron's bio reads to me like he's an ordinary G1 Decepticon-turned-Autobot. Shouldn't he get his own page? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 22:39, 29 April 2016 (EDT)
- I just put it on that page for the time being, feel free to shuffle stuff around as people deem nessecary. That said, I'm not sure if Timelines Toxitron is distinct enough to get his own page (after all, we have stuff like Rattrap, the heroic Maximal, and Rattrap, the morally-questionable Autobot all one page). Grum (talk) 22:47, 29 April 2016 (EDT)
- He's actually Combiner Wars Toxitron. <--- not helping --ItsWalky (talk) 22:51, 29 April 2016 (EDT)
- What I mean is that TFSS Toxitron looks to be a G1 continuity family guy, not a RiD2001 guy. Don't we still delineate by that? S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 22:56, 29 April 2016 (EDT)

Sharkticons in the CoP
Does The Covenant of Primus mention the term "Sharkticon"? I think it might predate Retribution for mentioning Sharkticons in the Aligned continuity. S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 47 (talk) 15:35, 17 June 2016 (EDT)
- Yep! They're name-dropped during the chapter describing the Age of Wrath. No idea how you can reconcile that with their later appearance in Retribution, where they're implied to be speciated Cybertronians, but that's Aligned for ya. Grum (talk) 17:15, 17 June 2016 (EDT)

Would you be able to upload the scene from exRiD #44 where Tracks is surrounded by the Decepticons and then stick it on the issue's article? Pages need to be moved using the move option at the top of the screen, otherwise copying and pasting means the page history isn't maintained during the move. --abates (talk) 16:28, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
- I tried doing it that way but the system wouldn't let me do it. Sorry, I should probably wait for an admin next time. Grum (talk) 16:29, 13 September 2016 (EDT)
I would like to apologize for making the move from "Cybertron Elite Guard" to "Elite Guard" unannounced (by that I mean swapping the code from one page to the other). I felt like whatever conversation I make was being neglected. Anyway, the pages with the Elite Guard logo still have the redirection to "Cybertron Elite Guard". Can anyone fix those please? On another note, the page currently titled "Jetfire (Movie)" is ready for deletion. All the necessary information from that page has been moved to the one titled "Jetfire (ROTF)". I am asking for help with deleting "Jetfire (Movie)" so "Jetfire (ROTF)" can be renamed as such. Whatever you can do would be a real help, because sometimes I feel like renaming links can be extremely tiresome. --NexusShard17 (talk) 12:45, 29 September 2018 (EDT)
- I'm flattered, I'm not a wiki admin, only they can delete pages. You can find them [here]; I would recommend asking either Abates, Chris, or Walky to do it. Grum (talk) 18:40, 29 September 2018 (EDT)

Combiners
Hey, nice work of the Combiner article, much more succinct than I could manage. One small thing I'd like to contest, though, are the details about Prowl's effect on Optimus Maximus (and by extension the info on Bruticus and others): I had specifically added stuff like that, as I considered them insight into the combiner process/mind-melding/mindscape/whatev, something we hear about but don't see that often. Ultimately it's up to you, but just thought I'd mention it. Thanks! Crossfire 03:55, 16 February 2018 (EST)

Ore-12 and Emissary
Cheers. Noticed that you reverted my edit in the article for OP #18, saying that it's Ore-12 -- not Emissary -- that was the source of the Space Knights' armor. Just to be clear, I never meant to imply that their armor was made out of Emissary himself; rather that he was the vessel which brought Ore-12 to Elonia (which I now concede is inaccurate).
I just went back to Unicron #0 to double-check, and Rom does in fact make it seem like Emissary was the source of the Regenesis ore. Looks like Rom was wrong here - the planet was seeded by one of Shockwave's Regenesis missiles separately from Emissary's arrival. Should this be cleared up in the Notes so that other readers don't get similarly confused?
My main question: should we still add a thingy in the Notes section that confirms that the Knights' armor is, in fact, an Ore? Or is the information already there sufficient? Genitus (talk) 17:52, 12 October 2018 (EDT)
- The Ore-12 article itself does already go into detail about how everything is connected, but I'm willing to believe that Rom's comment is just a simplification of events for new readers who haven't been keeping up with 13 years of comics. Grum (talk) 17:59, 12 October 2018 (EDT)

Changing
If you want to take over, fine, but note that a lot of IDW pages are not in the IDW G1 category tree, which is why I was prioritising those over the ones that are (and I wasn't done yet). - Mammalian Verisimilitude (talk) 17:12, 3 April 2019 (EDT)
Also, one of the reasons I was taking so long is that I was checking for mislinks - e.g., here, you didn't change the Jazz link to go to the IDW Jazz page.
(And if there's some sort of consensus on changing from IDW 2005 to 2005 IDW, you really should move the pages first, so that you're not creating a load of redlinks.) - Mammalian Verisimilitude (talk) 17:15, 3 April 2019 (EDT)

Skipjack and Payload
Payload and Skipjack are the yellow unnamed bulldozer and yellow unnamed dump truck that appeared in Revenge Of The Fallen, if you don't trust me i got some evidences to prove it, the Payload (Movie) article on this site, says that he is a decepticon and a constructicon, on the toys shown on the toys section from the same article, the Payload toy from the 2010 toyline transforms into a yellow dump truck, on the toys shown on the Skipjack (ROTF) article on this site, Skipjack turns into a yellow bulldozer and on the Devastator combination scene on the top of the cliff there's a yellow bulldozer (which is Skipjack's vehicle mode), and a yellow dump truck (which is Payload's vehicle mode), now you might say hasbro just repainted their Revenge Of The Fallen Long Haul to make more money on the figure and that the dump truck on the cliff is Long Haul because the sunlight makes it look yellow when is actually green, but that's not true because Long Haul appears next to Skids and Mudflap before combining and Skids and Mudflap weren't on a cliff when that happened. as for Skipjack you might say that takara tomy did the same thing hasbro does, and repainted hasbro's Hunt For The Decepticons legends class Rampage to make more money on the toy and they are actually two robots with the same body-type with different colors and because of that the decepticons decided to name them both as Rampage, but i'll have to disagree, because Rampage is red and Skipjack is yellow, because they share the same body-type, and this concept of different colors on multiple robots with the same body-type is used to be much easier to know who is who, just like Scavenger and Demolishor, which share the same body-type but have different colors, well that's it i hope you understand what i'm trying to explain here, thanks! -- Transformersbrasil (talk), 2:26, 13 February 2020 (EST)

Wheeljack: Orbital Decay
Grum, a couple questions about Transformers #24.
- Covers (3) should be Covers (6)
- Devil Dog exclusive cover A: Soundwave and Devil Dog exclusive cover B: Soundblaster - either the descriptions are mixed up, or the pictures are.
- Devil Dog exclusive cover C: Soundwave’s cassettes take flight, by Livio Ramondelli - the pic looks more like Soundblaster, but I don't know if he has cassettes.
- Under Advertisements, The Transformers: The IDW Collection #11. Are they really advertising the collection out in June, or should this be #12.

Movie continuity family Could the Bayverse online games deserve a header of their own?
Maybe seperate headers for The Battle for the Allspark game and Transformers: Forged to Fight too?--Primestar3 (talk) 12:23, 2 April 2021 (EDT)
- The first one, sure, although Forged to Fight is a crossover that explicitly mixes in Movie and G1 guys at will. Grum (talk) 12:26, 2 April 2021 (EDT)
Other users image deletion
Hey what's the deal dude?! You deleted my image on Tirac. As well as a post on it. Now I get the posts, as they linked to two other wikis, but not the images, as Tirac doesn't have any, and I was providing them. It talks about two different versions of him, one of the pics was even used in the "GO!" icon thing. So why delete it? Was it the name? Because if so, I could just change it's name. Or even the descrition? Cause again, the wiki allows me to change it. Besides, you could've just reuploaded the images with a better one. Beetle Bug (talk) 01:08, 11 July 2021 (CST)
- Our general policy is to only use images from Transformer products and media. Tirac hasn't appeared in any Transformers shows or comics or anything like that; he was only mentioned in Ask Vector Prime once in passing. So since there are no pictures of him in any Transformers media, there are no pictures of him on this wiki. (GoBoxes are one of the only exceptions to this rule.) -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 02:12, 11 July 2021 (EDT)
So you mean, that even though that he was shown in a show that was still made by the same people, A.K.A. Hasbro, it's still not allowed? Also if that was the case, then what about the "GO!" thing? It was identical to one of the images that I used, and yet that's ok? I'm not trying to be rude, I just don't understand how that works, as it seems to contridict itself. Beetle Bug (talk) 01:21, 11 July 2021 (CST)
- It really doesn't. Even if Hasbro owns MLP, he still hasn't appeared in a Transformers show; unless it's from an official Transformers product, we don't cover it on the wiki. The GoBox is the exception because there has to be something there, or else people won't know what it's pointing to. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 02:26, 11 July 2021 (EDT)
Ah. So if I can find a pic, of either or both, that was from an offical Transformers crossover thing, then it could work? Also, what about a link, so that people have some comprehensible reference of some sort? Or do the whole "unless it's in a Transformers offical crossover" thing apply to that as well? Beetle Bug (talk) 01:30, 11 July 2021 (CST)
- There's already a link on the page, actually; I went in and added one after you pointed out there weren't any, which there really should have been. (Just G1 Tirac, though, as that was the version Vector Prime was referring to.) As for a picture, you're not going to find one, as Tirac hasn't appeared in any Transformers cartoons or comics. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 02:35, 11 July 2021 (EDT)
Well, 1. I didn't realize that you had added a link there, I only had this page open, so thanks for letting me know, and 2. about the image, I wasn't trying to say that there was, I was trying to make sure I understood, that basically, unless there is a picture of the being in question that exists in a Transformers crossover, irrelevant of the form of media, it will work, otherwise, no picture will be present. I must've mistyped and misworded that. I have a tendency to do that. Oh, while we are on the subject, the other Tirek, the one from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, is on another wiki completely, specifically this one on this page: https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Lord_Tirek . I don't know what you can do about that, if anything, but I thought that you should know either way. Beetle Bug (talk) 01:42, 11 July 2021 (CST)
- Nevermind, Tirek is linked to Tirac's wiki page that you linked to the page on here. Beetle Bug (talk) 01:49, 11 July 2021 (CST)
Well, thanks for taking the time to do that, and helping to explain the rules on that to me. I was a bit confused. Oh! If I am wrong about the requirements for pictures as mentioned above with the whole "that basically, unless there is a picture of the being in question that exists in a Transformers crossover, irrelevant of the form of media, it will work, otherwise, no picture will be present" thing, then please, let me know, otherwise that's what I'm going with. Oh! Also, since you seem to know the rules better than I do, could you check my user page and make sure that I didn't break any rules on it as well? I read the rules, but I might've missed something, or just misread something. Beetle Bug (talk) 01:55, 11 July 2021 (CST)
Update: I'm sorry, I didn't realize either of you two (the person whom I am on the talk page of, and the one that I am talking to above) were admins. If I came off as rude, I do apologize for that. I have this bad tendency to do that when something happens that I don't expect, or when something happens that I view as rude. Plus I sometimes don't even realize that I could've been rude until much later, sometimes being too late. Also, maybe you should make the admin list more accessible to the main public, like over to the side right above "help", but under "random page". Beetle Bug (talk) 15:43, 12 July 2021 (EDT)

Saberback in Primal Rage
Just wanted to point out that Saberback didn't create those illusions in BWN, it was the Angolmois Energy. This was just Spengler taking one tiny thing that happened out of context and making up a bunch of stuff from there.
