Trash Bot
From Transformers Wiki
- Trash Bots are automatons from the Animated continuity family.
Trash Bots are the backbone of Detroit's sanitation system. By laying flat, they can rapidly move around the city on four wheels, and they can also use their arms to empty smaller mobile bins into themselves. They're supplied, as most of Detroit's automatons are, by Sumdac Systems. They're also known as Disposal Droids.[1]

When Sari Sumdac held an impromptu concert in the park with Soundwave, two Trash Bots lay down nearby so that their fellows could use them as percussive instruments. A couple of them were bowled over by Bulkhead as he arrived to warn Sari about her musical friend. The city's Trash Bots were among the automatons that later fell under Soundwave's influence and began chasing humans around the streets. One briefly made an attempt to stuff Bumblebee into itself before Optimus Prime used his axe on it. Once Bulkhead defeated Soundwave, the Trash Bots returned to normal and dispersed about their normal business. Sound and Fury
One time when the Autobots were playing hockey, Sari used her AllSpark Key on a small Trash Bot so it would act as goalie at a crucial moment. Lost and Found When there was a Decepticon sighting while Sentinel Prime and Optimus were attending a public function, Sentinel told a nearby automaton to tell Captain Fanzone that they'd deal with it. Then Optimus pointed out he was talking to a Trash Bot. The Return of the Headmaster
A contract dispute between the city council and Sumdac Systems, the latter at the time being run by Porter C. Powell, led to the suspension of all maintenance on Trash Bots. The Trash Bots quickly stopped collecting garbage and instead engaged in random behavior. The two parties eventually came to an agreement with a small amount of nudging from Ratchet, and the servicing of Trash Bots resumed. Garbage In, Garbage Out When Swindle managed to freeze every mechanical device in Detroit at once, a Trash Bot tipped over and spilled its contents everywhere. Of course, once it was unfrozen, it promptly cleaned up the mess. SUV: Society of Ultimate Villainy Following a battle between Soundwave and the Substitute Autobots, a number of Trash Bots moved in to clean up the mess, though Wreck-Gar didn't exactly help.
