Fiction
Micromaster
Sixwing first appeared when the Wing Team, six former Autobot Cyberdroids who had been mysteriously "evolved" into Decepticons due to a dimensional shockwave, made an attempt to steal several hibernating Cyberdroids from the Autobots' base on Earth. Their theft interrupted, the team combined into Sixwing and battled against Sixturbo, who was at a distinct disadvantage against the flying foe. Sixliner arrived quickly with a new weapon, the Vaccine Program Gun, designed to restore the Decepticon Micromasters' original Autobot programming. Though Sixliner scored a direct hit, the weapon did not work as intended, instead giving the Decepticon a powerful shining-white "evil Autobot" Berserker mode. Enter the Decepticon Sixwing!!
With this new power, Sixwing and the other Decepticons continued to harass the Autobots, and even succeeded in stealing several Cyberdroid capsules, increasing their ranks. Sixbuilder the Ill-Fated Warrior!? However, the appearance of Sixtrain, who could assume the ultra-powerful "Red Mode" that was a match even for Sixwing's Berserker Mode, once again turned the tide. This power forced Sixwing and his allies to abandon an excavation site near a dormant volcano, but the Wing Team simply waited for the Autobots to begin their own dig, swooping in and forming Sixwing once again in order to claim the spoils. Sixtrain! Activate Red Mode!!
Sixwing took part in a raid on the Autobots' newly constructed Metrobase at the foot of the volcano, but picked a bad time... as the Multiforce had just arrived via a dimensional tear. Their combined robot mode Landcross proved more powerful than even Sixwing's Berserker mode, forcing him to retreat. The Menace of Landcross's Combining Formation!
Operation Combination
Years later, the now-Autobot Sixwing banded together with Sixtrain and Guard City in a battle against the Decepticon Battle Gaia amidst a human-sized city. He and Sixtrain were quickly bested, leaving only Guard City to fend off the villain. Big Pinch, Autobots!
Later, Sixwing and all other Micromaster Combiners scattered across the globe were summoned to Earth's orbit to join Guard City in a last line of defense against Battle Gaia and the Jet Corps, who had fought their way past the Road Corps. Sixwing went up against Flare Jet. The Decepticons' Attack on Earth!
Sixwing, Sixtrain, Sixbuilder, Sixturbo, and Guard City eventually combined to form the "Autobot Scrum Combination". Combining the power of all twenty-nine individual Autobots, their unleashed energy destroyed Battle Gaia on the spot. As the Jet Corps fled with the remains of Battle Gaia, Sixwing joined the other Autobots in gleefully waving goodbye. Conclusion

Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers
- Sixwing (Micromaster Sixteam, 1992)
- ID number: TF-02
- Accessories: Torso frame, legs, Sixwing head, left & right Sixwing fists, left & right footplates, "Thunder God Gun" rifle
- Released in the Operation Combination portion of Takara's Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers toyline, Sixwing is the combined form of six aerial Micromasters: Chain Gun the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter, Falcon the gray F-16 Falcon, Flanker the blue Sukhoi Su-27, Missile Run the black & blue B-1B Lancer bomber, Raker the Space Shuttle, and Supersonic the SST plane.
- His component robots can be swapped around with the other similarly-built Six-Teams Sixturbo and Sixbuilder, and to some degree with Sixliner and Sixtrain. His combiner kibble can be assembled to make the "Sky Sweeper" vehicle (not named in this release) that can be piloted by a single Micromaster.
- This mold set was also used to make the Universe Aerialbot combiner Superion. It shares the torso frame, legs, footplates and rifle molds with Sixturbo and Sixbuilder.
- He was only available as a complete boxed set. The original Six-Teams are considered among the more difficult Japanese Generation 1 pieces to find, due to their final-year release well after Transformers had faded from relevance in Japan, and thus command some hefty prices even with the molds' later re-releases.

- In 2003, the entire Sixwing team was re-released as the third wave of The Transformers: Micromaster, in individual boxes with a number visible to show which mold was inside each box. Unlike the two prior waves, the entire Team's colors have been extensively changed, with all-new base plastic colors and new paint applications rather than stickers... plus they were sold as Decepticons.
- On top of this, two out of every twelve toys in the shipping/display case were all-white-plastic, nigh-unpainted "Berserker"-mode chase figures with purple Autobot sigils. Even the combiner kibble was cast in white plastic, albeit a little more milky in tone.
- The non-chase deco of Sixwing was repurposed as Shattered Glass Superion.
Notes
- Sixwing actually has a total of twelve wings—one on either side of his chest, and two on each of his Micromaster members except his bottom. He has fourteen if you include his feet which become the wings of his kibble's jet mode.
