Hellspark
From Transformers Wiki
This article is about the Angolmois engine. For the religious concept, see Allspark. |
The so-called Hellspark (ヘルスパーク Heruspāku) is perhaps the most fearsome weapon at the disposal of the Terrorcons: a dimension of unending torment awaiting the Selector sparks consumed by Hun-Gurrr's base mode as their Angolmois Energy is processed to super-charge the monstrous quintet. Quintesson advertising may not be all it's cracked up to be, though, as the torment ends real quick when the sparks escape if you give Abominus a good whack in the gut. When the Terrorcons aren't hamming it up, it is formally referred to as an Angolmois control unit (アンゴルモア制御装置 Angorumoa seigyōchi).

Toys
Generations
- Abominus (April 17, 2021)
- Hasbro ID number: TT-GS05
- Accessories: Rifle, two smaller blasters, Terrorbreaster, Gestalt hands, Gestalt feet
- Generations Selects Hun-Gurrr is a redeco and retool of his Power of the Primes release with several new accessories. Hun-Gurrr comes with the new Terrorbreaster piece—that's actually what it's called—which he can hold as a shield in robot mode, attach it to the top of his dragon mode, or form Abominus' upper chestplate when combining with his henchmen. In turn, the original chest piece from the PotP release has been removed. Hun-Gurrr also comes with the rifle originally packed with Selects Turtler, in reference to his original toy's sonic stun-gun (hopefully he won't feel tempted to eat it). He also has two extra blasters which can be attached to the rifle.
- Hun-Gurrr by far has the most deco alterations out of all the Selects Terrorcons. The stickers on the sides of his dragon mode necks are gone, the Decepticon stickers on his shoulders are gone, the backs of his robot mode arms are changed to off-white so Abominus's upper legs remain cartoon-accurate, and his face is white with a red visor to reference his cartoon appearance. Two Decepticon insignias are added to his chest to replace the removed stickers from his shoulders. Minor deco changes include adding gray accents to his robot mode chest, and removing the blue and purple trinkets on his robot mode shoulders and his dragon mode necks respectively.
- Originally slated for release on March 27, Hun-Gurrr's release was pushed back to April 17.
Notes
- While not particularly intended by design, Hun-Gurrr's Hellspark loading mode nonetheless represents the realization of the aborted base mode of the original Hun-Gurrr toy after some 35 years.
