Taking good ideas to the next level. Stimulating, supporting, and expediting the practical application of promising research results at an early stage. Working together to create impact with regard to relevant themes. That is what drives TTT.

With TTT, the four technical universities in the Netherlands (4TU) and TNO strive to stimulate new innovative activities. We do so by identifying potential at an early stage and assisting researchers with the valorization of their research. Our diverse fields of expertise allow us to have a significant impact. Our complementary knowledge of various domains is easily accessible and stimulates cross-over collaboration. Our joint focus on key themes and the financial support we can offer, provide a powerful impulse to prospective entrepreneurs who want to assess and capitalize on the market opportunities available to them. At the moment, our work is centered around the themes of Circular Technology, Smart Industry, and MedTech.

To ensure that our planet remains habitable for future generations, we must actively focus our attention on the transition from a linear to a circular economy. Together, we can develop and adopt a system based around the smart use of resources and materials and the efficient reuse of residual waste streams in closed loops. A system in which we make optimal use of renewable energy sources. A system designed around value retention at every stage of the chain.

We're becoming more and more connected to the world around us. New technology allows us to collect more data so we can measure and predict what's happening. From drones to infrared sensors and from quantum computers to smart fridges: smart industry is embedded in our day to day lives.

Technological innovations are needed more than ever to keep healthcare affordable, qualitative and staffed on the long term. However, the route to the market is very complex and difficult for medtech spin-offs. TTT MedTech makes this journey a lot easier.
