    — The objective of the research was to plan a machine maintenance strategy on the Finish Mill unit based on the reliability analysis by considering the system reliability target and the average value of its operation time of machine/components without damage. This research analyzes the downtime data which were then converted into the inter-damage time data from every component on the Finish Mill unit. After that, on the data, the distribution estimation testing would be carried out by software program of Reliasoft WEIBULL-Plus 4.0 with Rank Regression method, by comparing Goodness of Fit, Plot Fit, and Likelihood Function Value, to determine the most appropriate probability distribution for the inter-damage time data. Based on the obtained data distribution parameters, the reliability and MTBF can be calculated for every component and overall system for a certain period of time. The research result indicates that the damage or breakdown Finish Mill Unit is primarily caused by the component of 531.BE2, 531.BC6, 531.RC1, 531.BC4, 531.BC2, 531.BE1, 531.BC1, 561.BE1, 531.BC3 and 531.WF1. The maintenance strategy in the form of the optimal interval maintenance is arranged to achieve the targeted system reliability level and the interval maintenance can be determined to prevent the breakdown incident between 315.6702 hours (13 days) and 920.0141 hours (38 days).
