I love writing software in Java, because it's a good, solid workhorse for building cross-platform code.
My current project is Big Block Engine. I'm building (from nearly scratch) a game engine to rival Terraria and Starbound (I've been plugging away at this since February of 2016). I enjoyed both of those games so much that I wanted to build something similar of my own. You may find the devlog for this interesting. I post something each time I make a release, and with the shutdown of Google+, I'll likely be posting on my works in progress there, as well.
I also have a sourceforge page for other projects (Hierarchy, for example, is a library I wrote that's used by Big Block Engine to read/write XML files and represent their data in an easy to use, optionally typed manner).
I have an opengameart.org account. I'll post art there from time to time, if I think it has broad-enough appeal.
If you're interested in an old table-top RPG setting of mine, check out Islands of War. My avatar is an image of one of the characters, as painted by a friend of mine, Ryan Johnson.
