William Nordhaus

William Dawbney Nordhaus (born May 31, 1941) is an American economist of Jewish descent and professor at Yale University. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nordhaus is best known for his work in economic modelling and climate change. He is, together with Paul Romer, the 2018 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences winner.[1] He won the award "for integrating climate change into long-run macroeconomic analysis".[2]
