"Toosie Slide" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake. It was released on April 3, 2020. It is featured on his mixtape, Dark Lane Demo Tapes (2020).[1] The song was featured in a viral dance challenge of the same name on the social media app TikTok. The viral dance was performed while the song was still unreleased.[2] Drake wrote the song with Nick Kobe and its producer, OZ.[3]

The music video for Toosie Slide was released on April 3, 2020. In the video, Drake performs the song and dance around his Toronto mansion. It was filmed while Drake was quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic.[4]

The song entered at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US, giving Drake his seventh US chart-topper and third number-one debut there, after “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What”. This ties the record with Mariah Carey for most songs which entered at number one.[5] He also earned his 37th top-ten hit, giving him the most for a male artist.[5]
