Shitao

Shitao (simplified Chinese: 石涛; traditional Chinese: 石濤, c. 1642 – 1707), born Zhu Ruoji (Chinese: 朱若極), was a Chinese Buddhist monk , calligrapher, painter and theoretician of the early Qing dynasty.[1][2] Alongside Bada Shanren , he was one of China's most famous Individualist painters of the early Qing dynsasty.[2]
