Appearance
There were ten plagues in Egypt at the time of the Exodus: They were:
- Water turned into blood
- Frogs
- Lice
- Flies or Wild beasts
- Diseased livestock
- Painful Boils
- Thunderstorm of hail and fire
- Locusts
- Darkness for three days
- Death of firstborn sons
These plagues meant that the Egyptians had to pay for the suffering of the Jews, by suffering themselves.
