The Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower [2] is a TV tower in Shanghai. It was the tallest building in China from 1994 to 2007. This tall building in Shanghai, China is used to broadcast television. The tower is 468 meters tall.

The tower is in the Lujiazui neighbourhood in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai. At the bottom of the tower, there are three large columns. There are also eleven spheres in the tower of different sizes. The tower is supposed to make the viewer think that pearls are dropping onto a jade plate.[3]
