Friuli-Venezia Giulia has an area of 7,858 km2 (3,034 sq mi) and is Italy's most north-eastern region. It is the 5th smallest region in Italy. The Alps lie to the north of the region, and the beaches and cliffs of the Adriatic Sea are on the south edges.

  • Radicchio
