T. Rex je bio britanski rock bend, formiran 1967. od strane kantautora i gitarista Marca Bolana. Ispočetka je djelovao pod imenom Tyrannosaurus Rex, izdavši četiri underground albuma. Kasnije su preuzeli ime T. Rex i 1970-ih postigli veliki uspjeh sa glam rock hitovima kao što su "Jeepster", "Get It On", "Ride a White Swan", "20th Century Boy", "Children of the Revolution", "Hot Love", "Telegram Sam" i "Metal Guru". Bend se konačno raspao 1977. nakon Bolanove smrti u prometnoj nesreći.
