Car Ninmyō (仁明天皇 Ninmyō-tennō?, 810 – 6. maj 850)[1] bio je 54. car Japana,[2] prema tradicionalnom popisu[3] koji je vladao od 833. do 850.[4]
Bio je sin cara Sage i carice Tachibana no Kachiko. Krunskim princom je proglašen 823. a na prijestolje je došao 833. nakon abdikacije svog strica cara Junne. Za svog krunskog princa je imenovao Junninog sina - princa Tsunetadu. Međutim, godine 842. je došlo do dvorskog puča u kome je za krunskog princa imenovan Ninmyov sin princ Michiyasu, koji ga je nakon smrti 850. naslijedio kao car Montoku. Više od tri decenije kasnije je na prijestolje stupio još jedan Ninmyov sin - car Koko.
