Montgat (Catalan pronunciation: [muŋˈɡat]) is a municipality in the comarca o the Maresme in Catalonie, Spain. It is situatit on the coast atween Badalona (Barcelonès) an El Masnou, tae the north-east o Barcelona. The toun is baith a tourist centre an a (somewha exclusive) dormitory toun for Barcelona. The A-19 autopista, the main N-II road an a RENFE railwey line run throu the toun.
