Not a bad little puzzler :) The gore and physics were goofy, especially on the last screen with the body parts flying toward my face xD

Fun and cute :3

Whew, that was fun! :D Nice game! Took me a couple days to beat it and I enjoyed the variety of upgrades and annoying structures/mines :3

I like the theme and I like the gimmick of being able to fish some food out with the net :)

However it's buggy. The food isn't the correct size to the image so it's hard to see why food is being held apart from each other. When you use the net it also drops the next food item in the same spot you used the net so that can mess up your game more than help it. When trying to place at the edges of the pot the food catches on the lip of the pot and bounces off in a way that makes it very difficult to place food correctly at either edge. Also when you start a new game it doesn't display the correct starting food. And like most suika knock offs, the food is very stationary and lacks any weight. You can't push food down together by dropping smaller food on top of it like in the OG game, here where the food lands is basically where it stays outside of minor rolling.

That said I find the artwork quite nice and the placing/popping sound effects good, and think with a little more polish this could be a good potentially easier version of suika.

I played the game a little bit more just to verify that the watermelons definitely don't disappear like they're supposed to

It's a good recreation! But the watermelons are supposed to disappear when they touch :P Tho maybe these two were held apart by the strawberry *shakes fist* lol

Oh man that landscape picture at the top is so creepy!
Definitely fun seeing the story with pictures now :D
But what a shame about Kerr and the unnamed wolf! I keep checking Logen's reddit profile to see if they somehow survived, because I find this story interesting to read and inspiring for solo play. Definitely going to try my own hand at an HoA solo venture.

Oooo print version is very welcome :) As well as the detailed advice. I haven't had a chance to play yet but looking extra forward to busting this out as it looks like a unique way to guide the story along. I especially like the focus on the 'game' aspects in it's design. Also thank you for your blog too, it's very inspiring!

Good story! Nice writing, exciting premise, with an ending that you want to see continued :)

Amazing start :) My game ended with Philips dying, and going to the rumor market leading to an obviously unfinished part of the game ^^; Oh well, happy to restart again and see what else The Red Market has to offer.

Again, an amazing start. You are taking Choose Your Own Adventure stories to another level with this game.
