Héla Miniaoui
Dr. Hela Miniaoui is an Associate Professor of Economics in the Gulf at Gulf Studies Program, Qatar University. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia) and a Master in Economics from Laval University (Canada). She joined Qatar University in 2016 as Associate Professor of Economics. At the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University, she teaches Food and Water security in the GCC and the Middle East, GCC Economic Development and Diversification as well as Energy and Natural Resources in the Gulf for Ph.D. students. She also teaches Political Economy of the Gulf for the Master students. Her research focuses primarily on Economic Policies, Food Security, Sustainable Development, as well as Islamic Banking
