She does not appeal to the grocery boy, so he keeps his distance. One day while Sweedie is expressing her love to her Romeo, her mistress appears upon the scene, and, in her confusion, Sweedie pushes the grocery boy into a closet and locks it. That night when the man of the house comes home, he finds the grocery boy in the closet. He reproaches his wife and throws Sweedie and her sweetheart into the street. The grocery boy manages to make his escape, but sometime later, when he is rescued from a burning building, he recovers to find Sweedie had been his rescuer.
