It addresses performance of clinical librarian, presenting a historical-theoretical reflection on the role of this professional in the context of health decision-making to support Evidence-Based Medicine in the hospital environment. It describes how Evidence-Based Medicine emerged, its development in Brazil, the types of studies, and the Librarian's role in this context. It brings a historical account of the emergence of the Clinical Librarian in the United States and initiatives in Brazil in Hospitals and also Health Technology Assessment. In Brazil, it is still necessary to broaden the discussion on this subject due to the lack of reports of practices in the literature. Library and Information Science schools need to adapt their curricula to new disciplines that provide the necessary training for librarians in hospitals.

Este volume continua o trabalho colaborativo entre Sigmund Freud e Josef Breuer, focando em estudos de caso e suas implicações teóricas. Freud e Breuer apresentam histórias de casos detalhadas de pacientes, oferecendo insights sobre as manifestações da histeria e os métodos empregados em seu tratamento, incluindo a revolucionária técnica da catarse. Além disso, o Volume II adentra no arcabouço teórico da histeria, discutindo conceitos como repressão, trauma e o papel dos processos inconscientes na formação dos sintomas. Os primeiros volumes, em edição encadernada, foram publicados no início da década de 70, e o último volume da obra, foi publicado em 1980. O texto da coleção atual é considerado como sendo a primeira edição, já que a maior parte das traduções ainda é resultado direto da conversão do texto da edição inglesa da obra de Freud para a língua portuguesa.Em comemoração aos 150 anos de aniversário de Freud nossa Editora lançou a versão em brochura da Edição Stantard Brasileira das Obras Psicológicas Completas de Sigmjund Freud, tornando o seu conteúdo admirável acessível a todos.Tradução da Edição Inglesa, que inclui a tradução das notas e comentários do editor inglês James Strachey. Desde a década de 70 ela vem sendo continuamente revisada, sem que no entanto tenha se produzido qualquer alteração significativa na tradução original desta obra.

The first volumes, in bound edition, were published in the early 1970s, and the last volume of the work was published in 1980. The text of the current collection is considered the first edition, as most translations are still directly derived from the English edition of Freud's work into Portuguese.
In celebration of Freud's 150th birthday, our Publisher has released the paperback version of the Brazilian Standard Edition of the Complete Psychological Works of Sigmund Freud, making its admirable content accessible to all.
Translation from the English Edition, which includes the translation of notes and comments by the English editor James Strachey. Since the 1970s, it has been continuously revised, without any significant alterations to the original translation of this work.
