Interface Admins can't change page content models any more in hewiki
Closed, InvalidPublicBUG REPORT

Description

Hi. When translating the last Tech News I needed the local names of all content models. For the first time it was impossible to open the relevant special page.

  • Open hewiki.
  • Log in to an account with interface admin rights and without admin rights.
  • Open Special:ChangeContentModel.
  • Expected: being asked for the page name.
  • Got: an error message.

To be sure it's local, I've tryed the same on ruwiki, it works. And here is the proof I could do it earlier. Thank you.

This is because content models can be changed by admins, and in ruwiki, engineers (which you are one), but not interface admins. This is not a regression.

I checked both from IKhitron IA account.

You mean it's because the log was from before I temporarily left the admin group? I see, weird. Thank you, my bad. I'm closing the task.
