Background information:
- I lost my laptop, so, I had to create new private/public key pair to be used to login to Toolforge.
- I generated the new key pair and added it successfully to https://idm.wikimedia.org/keymanagement/
Problem:
- I can't activate the new key using the https://idm.wikimedia.org/ interface.
- When trying to activate the new key using the bitu interface it gives me a success message. (See screenshot.)
- When trying to suspend the old key, it gives me a success message. (See screenshot.)
- But when trying to login to Toolforge, it gives me an error message. (See screenshot.)
Note:
- I originally added my old key (the one associated with the lost laptop) using the interface on Wikitech not the Wikimedia IDM (bitu) interface.
- Since Wikimedia recently transitioned to using the idm.wikimedia.org interface, this is the first time for me to add a key using this interface.
Request:
- Please activate my new key (key comment: "eddsa-key-20240812"), so that I am able to login to the Toolforge again.
- Also, please remove the old key (the "ssh-rsa" key) from my account.
