Hi Wikipedia-Store people, do you know anything about the email address shop@wikimedia and why it would forward to the board@? Can it be removed?
Thanks for the question guys. I don't recognize the shop@ email... I sent a test email to try and figure out who is receiving it and if its still active. Do you have a list of people who are receiving it, apart from board@?
Also, who is this 'board'? Wikimedia board??
Here's the Store's emails that I know are active:
merchandise@wikimedia.org --> goes to our CRM tool Z endesk
orders@wikimedia.org--> how zendesk email look like to the customers
wikishop@wikimedia.org --> alias, goes to Pats Pena and Tony Le
internalshop@wikimedia.org --> alias, goes to Pats Pena, Juli Matthews, Sandra, Kristie and Gretchen
Hi Ppena,
so it's a bit complicated because the mail setup is split up betwen different teams. Some things are done by Tech Ops and other things are done by Office IT. This task is actually part of a larger effort trying to clean that up, remove things we don't need anymore and move the ones we still use over to OIT.
From my point of view in Operations, looking at the mailserver config all i can tell is that shop@ gets forwarded to board@ , there are no other people listed. Who is behind board@ is not configured in the same place and i think it is configured on the Google side.
I'm adding @bbogaert to see if he can see anything about board@ on his side.
Hi,
Board@wikimedia.org is a Google Group that sends to board members and wikimedia staff.
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys!
So yeah, we can remove board@ from the Shop@ email, and maybe add Pats Pena and Gretchen Holtman to the Shop@ alias?
Thanks
Pats
Hi All,
I have created the group in LDAP and Google Groups. It can be taken off exim.
