Description

There is a (currently-implicit) SLA between the automatic monitoring tool and the services it monitors. We need to document:

the exact format of the x-amples section in the spec
the assumed values
various SLA details (time-outs,retries, alerts, etc)

The goal of this document is to keep both sides in sync and have a reference specification that both sides adhere to.
