Urobilinogen yields a pink colour with p-methoxybenzene-diazonium-fluoborate. This colour reaction is much more specific than the classical Ehrlich reaction with p-dimethyl-amino- benzaldehyde and suitable for quantitative assay of urinary urobilinogen. A very simple …
