It is shown that nickel boron composite coatings can be obtained by electroplating nickel from a bath containing dispersed boron particles. This deposit heated to 300° C forms Ni- Ni3B composite. Further heating to 400° C converts it into Ni-Ni2B composite. Mechanical …
