Abstract

An insecticidal, miticidal or nematocidal nitromethylene derivative of the formula <IMAGE> in which R is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, m is 2, 3 or 4, and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, is produced by reacting a compound of the formula <IMAGE> in which R' each independently is a lower alkyl group, or together are an alkylene group forming a ring with the adjoining sulfur atoms.
