Abstract
This divisional relates to a system and method for optimizing energy management within an energy system that integrates both renewable and non-renewable energy sources are disclosed. The method utilizes historical energy demand data to predict future energy demand and weather forecast data to predict the availability of renewable energy. Based on these predictions, the system determines the amount of energy required from non-renewable sources and formulates an energy conservation strategy. The strategy is dynamic and adjusts the energy supply to storage devices and loads, taking into account the power supply limit of a power inverter. The method further considers constraints, such as the power supply limit of energy storage devices, when deciding between renewable and non-renewable sources. The prediction methodologies can be enhanced through the utilization of past observed energy availability data, employing buckets based on prediction parameters, and using prediction models, including neural networks. Furthermore, the method can adapt based on historical user inputs, circumstances data, and direct user feedback. The integrated approach ensures that energy demands are met efficiently while maximizing the use of renewable sources.
