Herbicidni supstituisani aril alkilsulfonil pirazoli opšte formule: gde R1 je H, C1-5alkil, C3-8cikloalkil ili cikloelkenil, R2 je C1-5alkil po izboru supstituisan sa R4, R3 je H i R4 je H, C1-8alkil, haloalkil, alkiltio, alkoksialkil ili polialkoksialkil, C3-8cikloalkil, cikloalkenil, cikloalkilalkil ili cikloalkenilalkil, C2-8alkenil ili alkinil, karbamil, halogen, amino, nitro, cijano, hidroksi, C4-10heterocikl koji sadrži 0, S i/ili N, C6-12aril, aralikil ili alkaril, -CXYR8, -CXR9, - H2OCOR10,-YR11, -NR12R13, X je O,S(O)m, NR14 ili NR17, i R8-R17 su neki od pomenutih R4 članova; m je 0-2 i n je 0-5, kao i postupak za dobivanje istih koji obuhvata oksidaciju jedinjenja formule B gde navedeni supstituenti imaju napred data značenja, sa podesnim sredstvom za oksidaciju kao i herbicidni preparat koji sadrži herbicidno efikasnu količinu jedinjenja formule I.
