Definitions

  • TITLE Refillable assembly for packaging a product, in particular a cosmetic product.
  • the present invention relates to the field of refillable assemblies for packaging a product, in particular a cosmetic product.
  • a “cosmetic product” is understood, in particular within the meaning of the present invention, to be a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products .
  • the invention relates to a refillable packaging assembly comprising a container or pot that has a wide opening and is equipped with a screwed cap or cover.
  • the refillable assembly also comprises an insert or cup forming a refill designed to be replaced when the product it contains has been used up.
  • the objective is to propose ecologically responsible containers that are reusable, in particular refillable at home or in a shop, in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the packaging.
  • the present invention falls within this approach of developing refillable packaging for the field of cosmetic products, in particular care products, for example a cream, for the application thereof to the skin of a user, or a makeup product, for example foundation or face powder.
  • the containers forming refills are in the form of very basic assemblies designed to be combined with casing elements so as to form a packaging assembly that is ready to use and provides the user with optimum performance, in particular in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics of use.
  • the axial seal created between the cap and the container is directly linked to the screwing force, and so insufficient screwing may bring about a lack of sealing.
  • Pots having a cap that is snap-fastened onto the top of an insert and forms an axial seal with said insert are also known.
  • the retention of the cap on the container is not sufficient to oppose an axial force applied to the cap in direction away from the container.
  • the aim of the present invention is therefore to remedy the drawbacks set out above and to improve refillable assemblies for packaging a product that comprise a container, a cup forming a refill, and a cap with the aim of improving the axial retention of said cup forming a refill with respect to the container in a use position of the product and to make it easier to extract said cup forming a refill from the container when said cup forming a refill is being replaced and thus to propose an assembly for packaging a cosmetic product that ensures quality and secure locking of the cup in the container in the use position of the product.
  • Another objective of the invention is to avoid any accidental extraction of the cup forming a refill.
  • Another objective of the invention is to make the interchangeability of the cup forming a refill easier, and thus in particular to simplify the replacement of an empty cup forming a refill with a new cup forming a refill within the device.
  • the subject of the invention is a refillable assembly for packaging a product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising:
  • a container extending along an elevation axis and comprising, for example, an internal space delimited by a lower wall and a side wall;
  • a locking member fastened removably to the container by screwing between a locked position in which the unscrewing of said locking member is prevented and an unlocked position in which the unscrewing of said locking member is allowed and said locking member can be separated axially from the container along the elevation axis .
  • Said locking member is configured to retain the cup in the container.
  • the assembly comprises at least two flexible tabs that are secured to the cup for the one part and/or the locking member for the other part and extend towards the locking member for the other part or the cup for the one part, said flexible tabs being configured to be movable between a free or starting position and a compressed position in which the tabs are compressed between the locking member and the cup, the locking member and the container each comprising at least two complementary shapes configured to cooperate with one another in the locked position of the locking member and to move the flexible tabs from the compressed position into the free position.
  • At least one flexible tab secured to the cup and at least one flexible tab secured to the locking member may be provided.
  • the flexible tabs are compressed between the locking member and the cup, and when the complementary shapes provided on the container and the locking member are located axially opposite one another, the flexible tabs tend to return to their starting position and exert a force between the cup and the locking member, this having the effect of axially raising said locking member, the complementary shapes of the container cooperate and thus fit together with the complementary shapes of the locking member, thereby preventing or locking the rotation of the locking member with respect to the container. In this locked position of the locking member, said member can no longer be unscrewed from the container or screwed onto the latter.
  • flexible or “elastically deformable” is understood to mean any member capable of deforming under the action of an exerted load, for example the screwing of the locking member or the axial pressing of the locking member towards the container, causing the compression of the flexible tabs between the locking member and the cup, and of returning to its initial shape after said load ceases, for example, the engagement of the complementary shapes .
  • the cup is effectively retained on the container by way of the locking member screwed onto said container.
