Abstract

The present invention relates to a system comprising a negative pressure tube and a button for controlling the same, which will make the aspiration, which is normally performed manually in fine needle aspiration biopsies, an important field in medical diagnostics, easier and more effective. Current applications are performed by aspirating after applying negative pressure to the syringe after reaching the lesion with a fine needle, and the power given to apply negative pressure during biopsy causes movement of the needle tip, resulting in inadequate diagnosis and increased risk of complications. The present invention is a system comprising a negative pressure area, a normal pressure area and a button controlling the relationship between these two areas, with a head compatible with all needle tips.

Description

VACUUM BIOPSY SET
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a system comprising a negative pressure tube and a button for controlling the same, which will make the aspiration, which is normally performed manually in fine needle aspiration biopsies, an important field in medical diagnostics, easier and more effective.
State of the art
Current applications are performed by aspirating by applying negative pressure to the syringe after reaching the lesion with a fine needle. Some devices facilitate this negative pressure formation by attaching to the syringe.
In both cases, the force given to apply negative pressure during biopsy causes movement of the needle tip and a corresponding increase in the risk of underdiagnosis and complications.
Brief Description of the Invention
The present invention relates to a system comprising a negative pressure area, a normal pressure area and a button controlling the relationship between these two areas, with a head compatible with all needle tips.
When the biopsy needle is attached to the tip of the instrument and the lesion is reached, the button will be opened to create negative pressure and the connection with the negative pressure tube will be provided. When the biopsy process is completed, the lesion will be come out by closing the button again. In this way, problems encountered with manual pressure application will be solved.
Detailed Description of the Invention
The present invention relates to a system comprising a negative pressure tube and a button for controlling the same, which will make the aspiration, which is normally performed manually in fine needle aspiration biopsies, an important field in medical diagnostics, easier and more effective. In Figure 1 ; general view of the vacuum biopsy set is given. The parts expressed with numbers in Figure 1 ; the negative pressure area (1) and the normal pressure area (2), the button (3) that can combine and separate them, and the needle junction (4) are shown. As a working principle, the needle to be used for biopsy is inserted into the needle junction (4) and the biopsy process is started, when the lesion is reached, the connection between the negative pressure area (1) and the normal pressure area (2) for aspiration is created with the button (3), so that the negative pressure required for aspiration is transmitted to the needle tip. When the process is completed, the connection between the negative pressure area (1) and the normal pressure area (2) is disconnected with the button (3) and the needle is removed from the lesion.
All of the components can be produced separately and combined later, or they can be produced as a single part. It is important to maintain the negative pressure area. The button structure that will ensure the relationship between negative pressure and normal pressure areas is important.
It should fit easily in the hand and not obstruct hand movements. The button should be easy to use. The part containing normal pressure should be transparent.
For the invention, negative pressure normal pressure areas can have different ratios/sizes, containing different negative pressure values. The placement and shape of the button may differ.
This invention also relates to a method and should cover a wide negative pressure range, a wide range of size/ratio possibilities.

Claims

1. System comprising a negative pressure tube and a button to control the same, which will make aspiration easier and more effective, which is normally performed manually in fine needle aspiration biopsies, which is an important field in medical diagnostics, characterized in that; the connection between the negative pressure area and the normal pressure area for aspiration is transmitted to the needle tip with the button, and when the process is completed, the button disconnects the negative pressure area from the normal pressure area with the button.
