The invention relates to an oil-in-water cosmetic emulsion. More particularly, the invention relates to a cosmetic emulsion, a light hemp formula containing hemp oil in a hydrophobic part, and a method for developing a water-oil composition.
This solution solves the problem of developing a stable cosmetic composition that uses minimum of ingredients in its composition to produce an emulsion comprising hydrophobic and hydrophilic phase. The hydrophobic phase in the composition is cold-pressed hemp oil or its mixtures with other oils, while the hydrophilic phase is water and/or biologically active substances soluble therein.
The ratio of unsaturated fatty acids: linoleic acid (LA) to a-linolenic acid (ALA) in cold pressed oil from hemp seeds is almost perfect, and is 3:1, which has a beneficial effect on the skin condition and also on function of biological membranes. The function of Essential Unsaturated Fatty Acids (EFAs) is the continuous process of rebuilding the skin’s hydrolipid coat exposed to contact with external environment, they also influence the correct structure of the intercellular cement. EFAs contained in hemp oil determine the fluidity of the cell membrane, limiting its permeability, which provides protection against excessive water loss in the process of transepidermal water loss. Another valuable component of the hemp oil is g-linolenic acid (GLA), which is one of the most important components of the skin, it is also produced in the liver and from there distributed via the bloodstream to tissues, including also the skin. It is, inter alia, an element of phospholipids building cell membranes, it also has an impact on the cellular transport of nutrients. It is a building block of ceramides - components of intercellular cement that binds the epidermal cells. It also strengthens skin's protective lipid barrier. By external application, it easily penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin, where it is transformed into prostaglandins, thereby protecting the skin against infection, inhibiting the development of allergies, eliminating inflammation and preventing premature skin aging, and it is also helpful in the treatment of psoriasis. GLA is helpful in irritations, atopic dermatitis, seborrheic eczema, acne, dandruff, brittle hair and nails, and hair loss. The visible effect of, inter alia, GLA deficiency in the body is noticeable aging of the skin, which becomes drier, rough, loses elasticity, and wrinkles appear.
Another interesting group of compounds in the cold pressed hemp oil, that complements the biological activity of fatty acids, are antioxidants, proteins, carotene, amino acids,
phytosterols, phospholipids, elements (Ca, Mg, K, S, Fe, Zn, P) and vitamins - A, vitamins from group B - Bl, B2, B3, B6, as well as C, D, and E. Said vitamins are active in regenerative processes taking place in the skin, preventing lipid oxidation. In turn, the remaining elements support proper action of the other components.
One of the components whose importance has increased radically in recent years is cannabidiol (CBD), the content of which is about 0.9 mg/g in hemp seeds, and in trace amounts it is also present in hemp oil. Due to its pleiotropic nature, it is currently a substance with high application potential also for the cosmetics sector due to the multitude of innovative applications. Generally speaking, its biological activity is associated with the impact of CBD on reducing inflammation through receptors of the endocannabinoid system.
Patent Application P.295365 discloses a cosmetic emulsion having cosmetic and dermatological activity, that consists of 2-12% by weight of an emulsifier or emulsifier mixture or up to 25% of emulsifying base, 10-35% by weight of a wax-fatty fraction containing inter alia mineral and/or vegetable oils, fatty alcohol or ester derivatives and optionally hydrocarbons, 2-10% by weight of moisturizing agents, 0.02-0.3% by weight of a preservative, 50-80% by weight of water with optional addition of fragrance and, optionally cleaning and astringent agents and 0.001-5.0% by weight of the polypeptide extract from calf thymus as a conditioner, having peptide molecular weight of 1500-6000 Daltons and an isoelectric point of 4.8-6.0, obtained by water extraction of the homogenized calf thymus tissue, desalting the extract, final isolation of polypeptides, and lyophilization.
In turn, the patent description PAT.167838 discloses o/w cosmetic emulsions with hypoallergenic properties, designed for the allergy-prone skin care. The emulsions consist of 4-10% by wight of a mixture of natural, ethoxylated and non-ethoxylated tallow fatty alcohols, 1-10 wt.% of propyl esters of C 14-06 fatty acids with the optional addition of up to 5% by weight of saturated fatty alcohols of plant origin, 5-15 wt.% of mineral hydrocarbons, 2-7% by weight of wetting agent, glycerine, propylene glycol or derivatives thereof and/or sorbitol, 0.02-0.5% by weight of preservative, up to 5% by weight of vitamins, and 60-85% by weight of water.
Patent description PAT.176860 discloses a cosmetic or dermatological composition consisting of an oil-in-water emulsion made by oily droplets surrounded with lamellar liquid crystal and dispersed in an aqueous phase. The composition is characterized in that each oily droplet containing at least one lipophilic component, which is active from the cosmetic or dermatological standpoint, is individually surrounded with a monolamelar or oligolamelar
layer containing at least one lipophilic surfactant, at least one hydrophilic surfactant and at least one fatty acid. The surrounded oil droplets have an average diameter of less than 500 nanometres, preferably up to 200 nanometres, and the aqueous phase contains the basic agent in the dissolved state. These compositions are used for skin and hair.
In turn, patent description PAT.177705 discloses a water-in-oil emulsion containing retinol, an oil phase, an aqueous phase and an agent for emulsifying aqueous phase in an oil phase, the oil phase containing at least one organic solvent for retinol, that is liquid at room temperature, and the pH of the aqueous phase is in the basic range, such that retinol remains stable for at least 2 months at 45°C. This emulsion is intended for use in cosmetics or dermatology. Also disclosed is a process for the preparation of an emulsion, in which the oil phase and the aqueous phase are produced independently of each other, the aqueous phase is then introduced into the oil phase, and then a phase containing retinol and its solvent are added. This process is carried out in an inert atmosphere that does not contain any amount of oxygen and with access to non-active radiation. A package for an emulsion is further disclosed, characterized in that it is provided with a dispensing device, that prevents the emulsion from contacting the environment and in that its walls are impermeable to gases and UV and visible radiation, the surface of these walls being non-metallic, and additionally is equipped with an oxygen capturing device.
Moreover, patent description PAT.182151 discloses a cosmetic or dermatological composition, each oily globule comprising at least one lipophilic compound with cosmetic or dermatological activity is separately coated with monolamelar or multilamelar layer made of at least one lipophilic surfactant, at least one hydrophilic surfactant and at least one ionic amphiphilic lipid, imparting to the emulsion a pH ranging from 5.5 to 7.5 and the coated oil globules have a mean diameter of less than 500 nm, preferably less than 200 nm. The use of this composition for treating skin and hair and a method for its preparation is also described.
Chinese patent application CN 107714587 discloses a skin care emulsion with natural tea oil, and a method for its preparation. The natural skin care emulsion with tea oil contains the following ingredients in parts by weight: 20-30 parts of refined tea oil, 0.4-0.6 parts of tea saponin, 4-8 parts of radix polygonati officinalis extract solution, 6-10 parts of passion fruit seed oil, 1-2 parts of elm leaf essential oil, 6-8 parts of black fungus polysaccharide, 6-8 parts of blueberry anthocyanin, 4-8 parts of aloe vera gel, 1-3 parts of mint extract solution, 1-3 parts of cloves extract solution, and 60-75 parts of deionized water. The preparation method comprises the steps of, respectively, first activation of refined tea oil and deionized
water, mixing with other raw materials, and carrying out homogenisation, to obtain the natural tea oil skin care emulsion. The natural skin care emulsion with tea oil prepared from natural plant extracts is safe, easy to percutaneous absorption and stable and has good whitening, water replenishing, moisturizing, anti- wrinkle, reducing light spots and repairing skin properties.
In addition, Chinese patent application CN108096082 discloses skin and beauty care emulsion stimulating microcirculation and a method for its preparation. The solution concerns a skin care and beauty product, in particular a skin care emulsion and beautifying emulsion, that stimulates facial microcirculation. The emulsion is prepared by mixing the following ingredient in percentage by weight: red tea fungus extract, collagen protein polypeptide, sodium pyrrolidone carboxylate, coenzyme Q10, vitamin C, magnesium stearate, allantoin, citric acid, hydroxyethyl cellulose, orange essence and deionized water. The production method of the care emulsion with the function of stimulating facial microcirculation and face and skin care involves a high-purity medical-quality extraction process, has a high formulation value and advanced technology, thanks to which the facial microcirculation stimulation, skin care and improvement of its beauty, as well as delaying the aging process using the face care emulsion produced in this way is safe, comfortable, stable in operation and of excellent quality.
In addition, Chinese patent application CN107714631 discloses collagen peptide mask solution and a method for its production. The collagen peptide mask solution is prepared from natural plants, is not only convenient to carry and use, but also can effectively clean and moisturize the skin and repair damaged cells, and is a mask product which can be used for a long time.
In contrast, US patent application US2009010976 discloses cosmetic or dermopharmaceutical compositions containing red tea fungus. The solution further relates to the use of red tea fungus and cosmetic or dermopharmaceutical compositions containing the same, alone or in combination, for the care of the skin, mucosae and skin appendages, and in particular for preventing the signs of endogenous and/or exogenous aging.
At the same time, the novelty from the French patent application FR2865399 is the use of red tea fungus extract in cosmetic or dermatological preparations for shaping, firming and tensing the female breasts. Also included is a disclosure relating to: (1) producing extracts (A) for the above use by fermenting infused red tea fungus tea with bacteria and yeast; and (2) extracts of (A) prepared as above, containing organic acids (e.g., acetic acid, gluconic
acid, lactic acid, other hydroxy acids (e.g., citric or tartaric acid), succinic acid, malonic acid, oxalic acid and glycenic acid), enzymes, proteins, tannins, lignan hydrolysates, flavones, saponosides, phytosterols, steroids, sugars, minerals, volatiles and various other ingredients such as caffeine, theobromine and vitamins.
The solutions existing in the state of the art are characterized by a relatively large particle size distribution in the composition, which significantly hinders the absorption of the active ingredients of such a composition, and thus makes it difficult to achieve the desired moisturizing or skin care effect.
Despite the existing solutions, there is a constant need to obtain a stable cosmetic composition using a minimum of ingredients in its composition in order to obtain an emulsion containing a hydrophobic and hydrophilic phase. The differences between the prior art solutions and the present invention relate to the use of a large amount of stabilizing and preservative ingredients in different cosmetics and the use of the two-phase composition to be mixed before application. The solutions used so far concern compositions based on a large number of excipients that may cause irritation, when used for longer time, and may create an excessive burden for the natural mechanisms of percutaneous absorption, which, for example, is inadvisable in the case of cosmetics used daily in the sensitive area of the eye skin. In addition, prior art cosmetics with care or cosmetic properties, in which two phases are used, in addition to a large amount of ballast excipients, need to be shaken in order to temporarily obtain an emulsion.
The aim of the present solution is to obtain a cosmetic composition which contains a minimum of ingredients and at the same time contains a hydrophobic and hydrophilic phase. The solution minimizes the amount of ballast excipients while maintaining the cosmetic properties of the emulsion components and enables achieving stable over time emulsion of hemp oil with water. The above features are reflected in the minimalistic formula composition of known ingredients of natural origin with targeted action.
Surprisingly, it turned out that the emulsion, thanks to the formula described in the application, shows unusually strong and fast properties of penetrating into the deeper epidermis layers. The advantage is the plurality of possible components and applications - from universal to specialized, dedicated to, for example, mature, problematic skin, etc. The emulsion sprayed on the face, body, hair can be suitable for all skin types, both in adults (women, men) and children. Ease of use and hygiene of application together with antibacterial potential means that it can be especially used in a time of pandemic as a remedy
for hand dried with bactericides such as gels (due to the alcohol and chemical substances they contain, they not only damage the lipid coat, but also destroy the natural skin microbiota, i.e. they break the natural first protective barrier against viral entry).
An additional advantage of the developed composition is the minimalistic composition - organic, pro-health and edible as well as vegan components, so desired on the market (also essential oils used in the composition, which are an element of natural aromatherapy), guarantee safety level that no cosmetic could guarantee so far. The rapidly penetrating form of the aerosol (as the most hygienic due to the lack of contact with the hands) provides a soothing effect for people with hypersensitive skin (including autistic children), with lesions, where rubbing is inadvisable and even touch causes pain (or after aesthetic medicine treatments, childbirth, surgical operations). The spray emulsion can also be applied to the face with make-up as a fixation and nourishment of the skin without damaging the make-up. It works perfectly on the hands of people who cannot or do not want to feel sticky and greasy filter.
The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising a hydrophobic part and a hydrophilic part and containing an emulsifier, characterized in that the hydrophobic part constitutes 15-40% by weight of the oil and comprises hemp oil alone or in admixture with another oil, and the hydrophilic part of the composition comprises 60-85% of a component selected from the group consisting of water and/or aqueous herbal extracts, with respect to the hydrophobic part.
Preferably, the hydrophobic part of the composition comprises 15-40% by weight of an oil selected from the group comprising of hemp oil, castor oil, pracaxi oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, cottonseed oil, sesame oil, coconut oil, black cumin oil, grape seed oil, wheat germ oil, evening primrose oil, milk thistle oil, borage oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, mustard oil, ozonated hemp oil, and/or combinations thereof.
Preferably, the aqueous extract is selected from the group consisting of aqueous marigold extract, aqueous chamomile extract, witch hazel extract, cider, diluted dry wine and/or aloe juice.
Preferably, the composition comprises 4-8% by weight of natural non-ionic emulsifiers.
Preferably, the emulsifier are polysaccharides and/or fatty acid glycerides.
Preferably, the composition comprises 0.1-4% by weight of natural fragrances selected from the group comprising natural lemon tea tree essential oil (Leptospermum petersonii), natural
cedar oil, natural ylang oil, natural myrrh oil, natural myrtle oil, natural hemp oil and/or other natural essential oils, champaca absolute and/or white rose hydrolate.
Preferably the composition comprises vitamins selected from A, D, E, K in the hydrophobic phase and B3, B5, C in the hydrophilic phase.
Preferably, the proportion of hemp oil in the hydrophobic phase is at least 60%.
Preferably the composition comprises cannabidiol (CBD) obtained from hemp panicles.
Preferably, the composition is used as a composition for hypersensitive skin, skin with lesions, after treatment and normal skin.
In order to better understand the invention, the solution is illustrated in the following examples. These examples are not intended to limit the invention, but merely allow a more precise understanding of its possible embodiments.
Example 1
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
9 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) was added to 50 g of hemp oil, and the mixture was vigorously mixed. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The so prepared mixture was treated with ultrasounds (20 kHz) for four minutes, while controlling the temperature of the mixture, which cannot exceed 40°C.
The emulsion applied to the hand skin immediately showed moisturizing effect, and feeling of refreshment, and after a few days of using the healing effects of irritation, dryness of skin and minor cuts and abrasions were noticed.
Applied to the face immediately showed the same properties as above - especially useful in the care of seborrheic, eczema and acne skin.
Example 2
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 45 g of hemp oil and 5 g of castor oil, 9 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural cedar oil) were added and vigorously mixed. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The emulsion applied to the face irritated after shaving (also to the woman’s body - armpit, leg shaving) immediately brings relief, strongly moisturizes and gently lubricates, also shows the smoothing of fine wrinkles after a few days of use. The emulsion rubbed into the scalp and hair made them stronger and shiny after a few uses.
The use of the emulsion in adolescents with atopic dermatitis clearly reduced the symptoms of the disease. The improvement was observed just 2 days after starting the care.
Example 3
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
8 g of emulsifier (caprylic poly glyceride), 0.2 g of tocopherol acetate and 0.1 g of flavouring agent (natural tea tree oil) were added to 40 g of hemp oil, and the mixture was vigorously mixed. 80 ml of aloe vera juice (Aloe vera 99.8%) and 80 ml of water were then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The emulsion applied to the skin of the face, body and hands gives, after several uses, the effect of smoothing, increased comfort and alleviating irritations (especially e.g. dry hands). It has also proven effective as a spray for rubbed feet, bringing immediate relief and faster healing of blisters and abrasions. From the first use as a spray it perfectly softened irritation caused by mechanical peeling and aesthetic medicine injections (micropeeling, dermabrasion and injection treatments with preparations based on hyaluronic acid and high- platelet plasma), for which rubbing the skin is forbidden for several days.
Example 4
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 32 g of hemp oil and 8 g of argan oil, 8 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural ylang oil) were added and mixed vigorously. 160 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. The emulsion has proven effective as an agent bringing relief to dry intimate areas, and thanks to the sensual scent of ylang-ylang, it can be used to diversify sexual intercourse.
Example 5
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
6 g of emulsifier (caprylic polyglyceride) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural cedar oil) were added to 25 g of hemp oil and 5 g of pracaxi oil and vigorously mixed. 170 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The emulsion sprayed on irritated and dry hands showed care, moisturizing and soothing properties beginning from the first application. Similarly, after several applications on the skin with stretch marks and cellulite, and on the abdomen of pregnant women, improvement in skin tension was noticeable. Spraying the hair strengthens their condition and gives a gloss effect.
Example 6
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 35 g of hemp oil and 10 g of black cumin oil, 0.2 g of vitamin A and 10.5 g of emulsifier (caprylic polyglyceride) was added and vigorously mixed. 155 ml of chamomile infusion was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The so prepared mixture was treated with ultrasounds (20 kHz) for four minutes, while controlling the temperature of the mixture, which cannot exceed 40°C.
The emulsion strongly moisturizes, softens and at the same time has the toning effect. After just a few uses, the reduction of fine wrinkles and the alleviation of irritation, inflammation and acne have been observed.
Example 7
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 35 g of the hemp oil and 15 g of coconut oil, 9 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) and 5 g of flavouring agent (ecological white rose hydrolate) were added and vigorously mixed. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The so prepared mixture was treated with ultrasounds (20 kHz) for four minutes, while controlling the temperature of the mixture, which cannot exceed 40°C.
After few weeks, the emulsion sprayed on the skin of the face and neckline of mature people showed an improvement in firmness and a slight lightening of the skin tone.
Example 8
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 30 g of hemp oil and 10 g of jojoba oil, 9 g of emulsifier (caprylic polyglyceride) and 0.3 g of flavouring agent (natural ylang oil) were added and vigorously mixed. 160 ml of spring water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization
throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The so prepared mixture was treated with ultrasounds (20 kHz) for four minutes, while controlling the temperature of the mixture, which cannot exceed 40°C.
The emulsion on the skin of the hands and feet brought a comfortable feeling of hydration and nourishment from the first application, similarly to dry skin of the face irritated by sun and cold exposure. The application on the hair revitalized them (hair after dyeing and after using a straightener) and gave shine.
Example 9
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 40 g of hemp oil and 20 g of sesame oil, 8 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) and 0.25 g of flavouring agent (natural myrrh oil) was added and vigorously stirred. 140 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The emulsion soothes irritated and dry hands, feet, body and face as well as dry hair after swimming in a pool with chlorinated water. (For very sensitive people and atopic skin, it should be used after each contact with chlorinated water - "tap water").

Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 54 g of hemp oil and 6 g of cotton oil and 5 g of crystalline CBD solution (1% solution of CBD in hemp oil) 10.5 g of emulsifier (caprylic polyglyceride) and 6 g of flavouring agent (ecological withe rose hydroxylate) were added and vigorously mixed. 140 ml of water was
then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous manual shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. Then the magnetic stirrer was turned on at such a speed that a small hole was formed in the centre of the mixture. This mixing provides uniform homogenization throughout the mass and prevents overheating directly at the ultrasonic probe. The so prepared mixture was treated with ultrasounds (20 kHz) for four minutes, while controlling the temperature of the mixture, which cannot exceed 40°C.
The emulsion applied to the face irritated after shaving immediately brings relief, deeply moisturizes and gently lubricates, and after a few days of use it reduces the amount of inflammation caused by shaving. The emulsion sprayed on the hands and rubbed into the scalp and hair resulted in their strengthening and shining after several applications.
Example 11

To 35 g of hemp oil and 15 g of grape seed oil 8 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate), 3 g of emulsifier (sorbitan laurate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural myrrh oil) were added and vigorously stirred. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.

The emulsion sprayed on the face, body and hands showed soothing and nourishing properties and after a few weeks the condition of the skin improved.

To 40 g of hemp oil and 10 g of wheat germ oil, 8 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate), 3 g of emulsifier (sorbitan laurate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural myrtle oil) were added and vigorously stirred. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.

The emulsion quickly penetrates deep into the epidermis providing optimal hydration and nutrition of the skin. It improved the skin elasticity, made it firmer - especially the problematic eye area, even after excessive sunbathing. When applied to dry hair, it immediately moisturizes it and protects it against moisture loss.

The emulsion applied to the skin of the face, hands and the whole body (dry, mature, and also hypersensitive skin) intensively nourished the skin and increased its elasticity after several applications. It soothes irritations and inflammations, prevents peeling and itching of the skin.

To 30 g of hemp oil and 10 g of milk thistle oil, 8 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural myrrh oil) were added and vigorously stirred. 160 ml of an aqueous marigold extract was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.

Example 15
Preparation of a designed water-oil emulsion
5 g of crystalline CBD solution (1% CBD in hemp oil) and 9 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate), 0.1 g of flavouring agent (natural cedar oil) was added to 50 g of hemp oil, and the mixture was vigorously mixed. 50 ml of dry white wine and 100 ml of water were then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The emulsion sprayed on the hands moisturizes, refreshes and gives a feeling of relief to chapped hands. Immediately after use it is rapidly absorbed, leaving no greasy film on hands.

To 35 g of hemp oil and 15 g of borage oil, 9 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate) and 6 g of flavouring agent (ecological white rose hydrolate) was added and vigorously mixed. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. The preparation applied to mature face with discoloration and dilated blood vessels brought a clear relief and a slight lightening of the reddened skin after several applications.

To 35 g of hemp oil and 15 g of apricot kernel oil, 9 g of emulsifier (sorbitan laurate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural ylang oil) were added and vigorously mixed. 150 ml of water was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. The emulsion applied for several weeks to the face, dry body and hair moisturized tired and dull skin, giving it a healthy look. It delays the skin aging process. Improvement in the
elasticity of hair that has gained shine and softness was evident, the emulsion prevents also splitting hair ends.
Example 19
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 45 g of hemp oil and 30 g of avocado oil, 10.5 g of emulsifier (sorbitan laurate) and 0.3 g of flavouring agent (champaka absolute) were added and vigorously mixed. 125 ml of an aqueous firefly extract was then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.
The so pre-prepared mixture was poured into a vessel, which was placed in a cold water bath placed on a magnetic stirrer. The ultrasound probe and magnetic stirrer were placed in the mixture in sequence. The ultrasound probe should be close to the vessel wall but not in direct contact with it. The emulsion sprayed every day on the sensitive face of people, who wear contact lenses and complain of dry conjunctiva (long work at the computer), moisturized and soothed also the problematic eye area.
Example 20
Preparation of a water-oil emulsion
To 22 g of hemp oil and 13 g of mustard oil, 8 g of emulsifier (sorbitan oleate), 3 g of emulsifier (sorbitan laurate) and 0.2 g of flavouring agent (natural lemon tea tree oil) were added and vigorously mixed. 65 ml of dry white wine and 100 ml of water were then added and the mixture was mixed again by vigorous hand shaking for about 30 seconds until an opaque milk appeared.

The emulsion sprayed on the body every day after bathing showed skin firming and reduction of unaesthetic lesions in the region affected by cellulite. Positive effects were also noticed in places with stretch marks and postoperative scars.
Claims
1. Cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion comprising a hydrophobic part and a hydrophilic part and containing an emulsifier, characterized in that the hydrophobic part constitutes 15-40% by weight of the oil and comprises hemp oil alone or in admixture with another oil, and the hydrophilic part of the composition comprises 60-85% of a component selected from the group comprising of water and/or aqueous herbal extracts, with respect to the hydrophobic part.
2. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the hydrophobic part of the composition constitutes 15-40 wt% of oil selected from the group comprising of oil, hempseed oil, castor oil, pracaxi oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, cottonseed oil, sesame oil, coconut oil, cumin seed oil, grape seed oil, wheat germ oil, evening primrose oil, milk thistle oil, borage oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, mustard oil, ozonated hemp oil, and/or combinations thereof.
3. The cosmetic composition according to claim 2, characterized in that the aqueous extract is selected from the group comprising of aqueous marigold extract, aqueous chamomile extract, witch hazel extract, cider, diluted dry wine and/or aloe juice.
4. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises 4- 8% by weight of non-ionic emulsifiers of natural origin.
5. The cosmetic composition according to claim 4, characterized in that the emulsifier are polysaccharides and/or glycerides of fatty acids.
6. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises 0.1- 4% by weight of natural fragrances selected from the group comprising of natural lemon tea tree essential oil ( Leptospermum petersonii), natural cedar oil, natural ylang oil, natural myrrh oil, natural myrtle oil, natural hemp oil and/or other natural essential oils, champaka absolute and/or white rose hydrolate.
7. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises vitamins selected from A, D, E, K in the hydrophobic phase and B3, B5, C in the hydrophilic phase.
8. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the proportion of hemp oil in the hydrophobic phase is at least 60%.
9. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises cannabidiol (CBD) obtained from hemp panicles.
10. The cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that it is applicable as a composition for hypersensitive skin, skin with lesions, after treatment and normal skin.
