NAMES OF THE PARTIES TO A JOINT RESEARCH AGREEMENT [0003] Not applicable.
INCORPORATION-BY-REFERENCE OF MATERIAL SUBMITTED ON A COMPACT DISC
[0004] Not applicable.
BACKGROUND ON THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
[0005] The present invention relates generally to devices and means of carrying multiple beverages.
[0006] When presenting consumers with various samples or small beverages, it can be awkward for the receiver to move with the various beverages without spilling them. In addition, it can be difficult to remember or discern the different beverages from one another, especially if they are presented in the same type of drink ware.
[0007] What is needed is a way to easy way to present multiple beverages wherein the receiver of the multiple beverages can easily move without spilling the beverages and also still have full awareness of what each of the beverages is.
SUMMARY
[0008] The various exemplary embodiments of the present invention include a multiple beverage holder comprised of a single plane and single continuous material having multiple first openings and at least one second opening.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0009] The various exemplary embodiments of the present invention, which will become more apparent as the description proceeds, are described in the following detailed description in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which:
[0010] Figure 1 illustrates a top view of an exemplary embodiment of the present invention.
DESCRIPTION OF THE REFERENCED NUMERALS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0012] Referring to Figure 1, the present invention includes a device and method for retaining multiple beverages.
[0013] Throughout this disclosure, the term “cocktail(s)” maybe used. The term “cocktail(s)” often is used to reference mixed drinks that include distilled spirits such as whiskey, vodka, rum, gin, etc. mixed with non-alcoholic beverages, edibles, and combinations thereof. The term “mocktails” has also grown in popularity to reference non-alcoholic cocktails; which try to mimic the flavors or experience of an actual cocktail without the alcohol. For the sake of brevity and clarity, throughout this disclosure, the term “cocktail” shall include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic type. [0014] The various exemplary embodiments of the present invention include a holder 50, an embodiment of which is illustrated in Figure 1.
[0015] The holder is comprised of a single plane, preferably of a single continuous material, having one or more first openings 60 and at least one second opening 70. [0016] The holder is comprised of semi-rigid to rigid material that is preferable water resistant or water repellant.
[0017] The holder includes multiple first openings in which drink ware, preferably in the form of a small cup, glass, etc. may rest without passing fully through the first opening when the holder is lifted or held above a surface. The drink ware should be tapered such that the top of the drink ware is wider (has a larger perimeter) than the bottom of the drink ware. Preferably, about 1/2 to 3/4 of the drink ware would pass through the beverage opening when the holder and drink ware lifted off a surface. Each of the drink ware vessels preferably contains a different cocktail, spirit, or other beverage than the other drink ware vessels associated with a particular holder.
[0018] A user may grasp the holder with a single hand without also having to hold each separate drink ware. The holder also includes at least one second opening through which a user may place one’s thumb or finger, through the top or bottom of the second opening, in order to hold and balance the holder and associated drink ware. This allows a user to move more freely with a flight of beverages and not be otherwise tied to a flat surface such as a table top. This can be particularly useful for festivals and bars.
[0019] The top, bottom, or both sides of the holder may include printing which may include information about the beverage in each drink ware. The information may be printed or hand written based on a user’s order. When retaining the holder above a surface, a user can then be reminder what each different beverage is. When placed on a flat surface such as a table or bar, the holder may lay against the table with each beverage within a respective first opening.
[0020] The number of first openings may vary between 1 and 8, but preferably is 3, 4, or 5.
[0021] The holder may be of any shape. However, it is preferred that the second opening be centralized with respect to all the first openings. It is also preferred that the second opening is close to an outside edge of the holder. The first openings are preferably equip-distant from the second opening or from the center of the holder. [0022] While this invention has been described in conjunction with the specific embodiments outlined above, it is evident that many alternatives, modifications and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the preferred embodiments of the invention as set forth above are intended to be illustrative, not limiting. Various changes may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
[0023] A portion of the disclosure of this patent document contains material which is subject to copyright protection. The copyright owner has no objection to the facsimile reproduction by anyone of the patent document or the patent disclosure, as it appears in the Patent and Trademark Office patent file or records, but otherwise reserves all copyright rights whatsoever.
