The present invention also relates to a method for making up and/or caring for keratin materials, particularly the skin.
- tissue mask becomes an essential step in hydration category, especially after emergency skin damage like sun burning. Consumers are seeking for mask with strong hydrating sensory/efficacy but extremely mild at the same time.
- Cosmetic compositions are susceptible to microbial contamination during manufacturing, or consumer use. Preservative agents are thus used in cosmetic compositions to kill microbes that come in contact with these compositions. The preservative agents protect products from microbial contamination that might occur during manufacturing (also referred to as primary contamination) , and protect users from contamination or infection during the use of the cosmetic compositions (also referred to as secondary contamination) .
- a comfortable skin feeling is sought by the consumers after application of cosmetic compositions.
- “comfortable skin feeling” is intended to mean soft, moisturizing, non-irritating, and/or non-itchy feelings after the application of a cosmetic composition.
- the balance between a sufficient antimicrobial activity and a comfortable skin feeling after application of a cosmetic composition is thus often a goal to achieve for formulators in the cosmetic field.
