Abstract

The invention relates to a device that integrates components and systems to be used in tables of public and private dining areas and restaurants, as well as the tables of private homes and clubs. The device is designed to provide comfort and safety to employees and users, for which purpose it comprises: a base element containing several compartments for placing different table items; an intermediate element that acts as a serviette dispenser; a top cover for securely placing plates and trays of prepared or decorative foods and also for supporting different objects, such as a menu or an advertising leaflet holder, which also acts as a support for a mobile phone or tablet; and a detachable box placed at the bottom, having a rectangular footprint and provided for placing a commercial battery therein for recharging mobile phones and tablets. The device also comprises, on the walls or faces of its covers, different elements for placing advertising elements, rules and important warnings for the user's safety, convenience and comfort. In addition, different support and safety systems can be integrated into the device, such as personal speakers with intercommunication with the user assistance services, antibacterial gel dispensers, LED lamps for personal lighting, etc.

Object of the Invention

The objective of this invention is to facilitate the assembly of the table service to the employees of dining rooms and restaurants, optimize the space of the tables, as well as generate extra comforts, for the diners, through the use of an appliance that offers the option to place the amenities in an orderly and efficient manner or "Petit menage" (in the slang for restaurants) on the table, optimize their space and equip them with equipment that provides additional comforts during your stay in the dining room or restaurant.

Background of the invention

Currently the optimization of the available space, as well as the dependence on electronic devices such as; cell phones, lap-tops or tablets generate special needs. The increasingly expensive and reduced profitable spaces force entrepreneurs in the industry to adjust the size of the tables, which can result in the possibility of accommodating a greater number of diners, but by reducing the size of the tables in turn it generates discomfort and difficulty to accommodate dishes and amenities. Taking the above as the main problem and based on my professional experience as a designer and as a user, I discovered the non-existence in the market of any element that allows to solve these needs for space and comfort features, for which I developed the device described below .
