Abstract

The invention relates to a foldable lever corkscrew for two-step removal, which is designed to replace conventional foldable lever corkscrews and is characterised in that it is formed by an external piece and an internal piece, both with a U-shaped cross section and sized such that the second piece is coupled inside the first with the possibility of sliding smoothly thereon, acting as a telescopic mechanism. Once coupled, the two remain inseparable owing to the inclusion of external tabs and internal tabs that bend. The external piece has an external claw, an opening and a bolt, and the internal piece has a flange, an internal claw, a heel extension and a hook, both pieces being connected by a spring, one end of which is hooked on the bolt and the other secured to the hook.
