The present invention relates to a tricycle comprising a fixed rear support substantially elongated along a fixed support axis SF-SF and for carrying the rear wheels, a movable front portion with a front wheel mounted on a fork, the movable front portion being pivotally mounted relative to the fixed rear support by means of a roll arm having a longitudinal axis BR-BR forming an angle α relative to a neutral plane N in which the three wheels would be likely to contact the ground in the absence of roll.
ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE ANTERIEURE STATE OF THE PRIOR ART
[0002] Bicycles and tricycles with electric motorization are means of transport increasingly used and popular in cities, especially in large cities because they are an economical and non-polluting alternative to thermal vehicles. On the other hand, for a given path, the potential saving of time due to the use of such a vehicle compared to a four-wheeled vehicle can be considerable. In addition, their parking is simpler and often free.
The advantage of tricycles over bicycles is their great stability. The three-wheel architecture provides this stability, even at low speed and at rest. However, when turning, with a conventional tricycle, in the event of overspeed and / or a tight turn radius, there is still a significant risk that a tricycle wheel will be raised in relation to the ground, causing a greater or lesser loss of speed. stability.
Some solutions have been implemented to improve the dynamic behavior of tricycles. For example, the document FR2991282 presents a reclining tricycle with dynamic control, in particular with electric motor and minimum space requirement. Pivoting of wheel axles back determines the turn to be made. This device presents a mode of unintuitive conduct.
US 4448436 discloses a tricycle with roll and a mechanism for locking the roll under certain conditions.
EP 2505406 discloses a tricycle with a rolling motion for the turns whose mechanical members are arranged to provide optimum stability.
The document FR 3020335 describes a tricycle with a frame articulated in rotation about an axis of articulation. This device allows the vehicle to be stable in turns.
US4678053 discloses a motorized tricycle provided with a frame articulated around a roll axis. However, teaching the document does not allow to deduce a positioning angle of the roll axis and a distance between this axis and the contact point on the ground of a virtual axis passing through the roll axis. The description does not include any information concerning dimensions or relative distances.
Document FR3020335 discloses an electric motor tricycle with an articulated frame. The joint of the frame joint is visible in Figure 1. In this figure, if we extrapolate the point where a virtual axis passing through the joint would cut the neutral plane, we observe that the point is largely at a distance from the rear wheel and the point of contact. Moreover, the teaching of this document does not allow to obtain a precise dimension.
EXPOSE DE L'INVENTION The various arrangements proposed certainly improve some of the dynamic qualities of tricycles, but there remains a need for a more compact electric tricycle vehicle with improved dynamic qualities. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
First, a first object of the invention is to provide a tricycle with improved dynamic characteristics during the taxi.
Another object of the invention is to provide a tricycle of simple and inexpensive construction.
Yet another object of the invention is to provide a very stable tricycle.
To do this, the invention provides a tricycle comprising a fixed rear support substantially elongated along a fixed support axis SF-SF and for carrying the rear wheels, a movable front portion roll with a front wheel mounted on a fork, the movable front portion being pivotally mounted relative to the fixed rear support by means of a roll arm having a longitudinal axis BR-BR forming an angle α with respect to a neutral plane N in which the three wheels would be likely to contact the ground in the absence of roll in order to generate a deflection of the rear wheels in the direction of the turn when the movable portion pivots in roll towards the center of the turn, the virtual axis BR-BR intersecting said neutral plane N to a point B at a distance L less than 0.8 meters behind a point of contact C between the rear wheels and said neutral plane N.
This architecture avoids the tilting of the rear axle due to the centrifugal force during a turn. According to this architecture, the more the point B is close to the point C, the more the dynamic performance of the tricycle, in particular the stability, are optimized.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the BR-BR axis intersects the vertical plane containing the center of the rear wheels at a point A at a height H of the neutral plane N less than 0.1 meter. Advantageously, the angle a is between 5 and 10 degrees, and more preferably corresponds substantially to 7 degrees.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the roll arm comprises a fixed portion connected to one of the front or rear supports and a free rotation part connected with the other support. The free portion in rotation is advantageously mounted on a bearing.
DESCRIPTION DES FIGURES DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
All the details of implementation are given in the description which follows, supplemented by FIGS. 1 to 4, presented solely for purposes of non-limiting examples, and in which:

DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE L'INVENTION DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Figure 1 illustrates an embodiment of a tricycle 1 according to the invention. In this figure, the vehicle is illustrated in the steering phase on the left. The vehicle comprises a rear support 2 carrying the rear wheels 3 and a front portion 4 mobile rolling.
[0021] Figure 2 schematically illustrates the arrangement between the front and rear parts. The degree of freedom between parts 2 and 4 is achieved by means of a roll arm 8 interconnecting these parts. As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the fixed rear support 2 comprises an active portion of substantially elongate shape along an SF-SF axis. For its part, the roll arm 8 forms an elongated body along the BR-BR axis. FIGS. 2 and 3 show that the BR-BR axis of the roll arm 8 forms an angle alpha, between 5 ° and 10 ° with respect to a neutral plane N in which the three wheels 2 and 3 would be capable of contact the ground in the absence of roll. In current use, this neutral plane N corresponds to the ground. The preferred alpha angle is 7 °.
The free end of the rear support 2 serves as a fixing point for a fixed side roll arm 8. The other side of the roll arm is rotatably mounted by means of a bearing 9 inserted in the attachment zone of the front part 4. The front and rear parts 2 and 4 therefore have a degree of freedom between them.
Moreover, the BR-BR axis of the roll arm virtually contacts the neutral plane N at a point B located behind the point of contact C between the rear wheels and the neutral plane N. The distance L between the points B and C is at most 0.8 m, and more preferably less than 0.5 m, and even more preferably less than 0.3 m.
The height H between the point C and the point A intersecting the BR-BR axis and passing through the center of rotation of the rear wheels is less than 0.1 m and preferably less than 0.05 m.
Numéros de référence employés sur les figures With this geometry, the rear wheels 3 are constantly in contact with the ground, even in turns, greatly increasing the stability of the tricycle 1.
