When the passenger information management device acquires the arrival information, an instruction is transmitted to the delivery processing device to deliver baggage belonging to the individual (or the group to which the individual belongs) corresponding to the user management information acquired by the check-in location reader terminal to a specific location, a specific person, the individual corresponding to the user management information acquired by the check-in location reader terminal, or the group to which the individual belongs.

Description

Baggage management system

The present invention relates to a system for managing baggage widely, and more specifically to a management system for individually managing passengers (users) who use airports, hotels, event venues, etc. and their baggage.

Fig. 9 shows the simplest form of movement of a conventional passenger group. In FIG. 9, as an example, a passenger group 920 that departs from an accommodation (such as a hotel or an athlete village) and goes to a facility that requires check-in, such as an airport or another accommodation, boarded a bus 931 for a person 921. In some cases, the baggage including the baggage is moved and transported to the delivery vehicle 932 and is separately sent to a facility 941 such as an airport. Here, the check-in procedure is performed at the counters 951 to 953 of each airline company (each carrier) for the first time when people (boarding on the bus 931) and baggage (transported by the delivery vehicle 932) arrive at the airport 941 facility 941. It can be carried out.

In such a movement mode, there were many cases that a big trouble occurred especially at the time of a competition or event where one or more organizations gathered in one place. As an example, in an international sporting event where teams from different countries meet together, (1) it is easy to concentrate on returning home, so the check-in counter at the nearest airport is likely to be crowded, (2) equipment of each organization, etc. It takes a long time to deliver the luggage because there is a lot of luggage, (3) In addition, the roads near the airport tend to be congested. (4) General users (individuals, etc.) are involved in the airport. If you get more confused, your flight will be delayed.

On the other hand, various baggage management systems have been proposed from the viewpoint of improving passenger convenience and security. For example, there has been proposed a system service in which baggage is directly accepted and loaded on a boarding flight without bringing baggage to an airport check-in counter while ensuring safety (Patent Document 1).

In addition, an air baggage management system has been proposed that improves both passenger convenience and security (Patent Document 2).

However, in the conventional baggage system, although convenience and safety are improved for handling the baggage of individual passengers, the handling of the group passengers and their baggage as illustrated in FIG. 9 are unsolved. There are challenges. In particular, if not only the linkage management between the package information and the owner information but also the linkage management with the group information can be successfully performed, these conveniences should be further improved.

Furthermore, with regard to baggage check-in for group passengers, it is expected that the convenience of collation and other improvements will be improved, and further system improvements will be made that can flexibly deal with situations specific to group passengers.

The sticker slip 560 is attached as it is even after baggage check-in at an airport which is the arrival base, for example. For this reason, when an error occurs during baggage inspection (X-ray inspection), the owner of the baggage can be quickly identified, and direct calling is facilitated. Thus, the management convenience at the arrival base is high.

FIG. 6 shows an operation scene example of the baggage management system according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 particularly illustrates a reading (arrival confirmation) scene of a person who arrives at a check-in facility (airport, hotel, etc.).

In FIG. 6, reference numeral 601 denotes an identification medium on which all or part of passenger information (an example of user management information) including information for identifying a passenger's individual is recorded, and corresponds to the identification medium 401 of FIG. . The information recorded on the identification medium can be read at least twice at the time of departure from the departure point (when baggage is received) and at arrival at a check-in facility (arrival point) such as an airport or a hotel.

Here, the passenger information recorded on the identification medium 601 is the same as the information recorded on the identification medium 401, but the information recorded on the identification medium 601 is installed at the check-in facility (arrival base). Read by the reader terminals 603a and 603b. Although only reading from the two-dimensional codes 602a and 603b is displayed in the figure, the present invention is not limited to these. Information recorded on a chip built in the medium 601 may be read by a contact type or a non-contact type. The leader terminals 603a and 603b acquire all or part of the information (user management information).
As an example, the leader terminals 603a and 603b are associated with 13a and 13b in FIG.

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000002
At this time, in one embodiment of the present invention, the reader terminals 603a and 603b transmit, for example, information exemplified in the following table to the information management server 11 in addition to all or part of the information read from the medium 601.
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000002
Alternatively, only the serial number recorded in the identification medium 601 may be transmitted to the information management server 11 as the minimum configuration data to be read by the reader terminal. As an example, this serial number is recorded on an RFID or the like on the back surface of the identification medium 601 (not shown). The serial number transmitted to the server is collated with the master data etc. on the server, and the related information is linked.

Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000003
In the information management server (not shown in FIG. 6), the transmitted information is recorded and managed. Furthermore, passengers who have arrived from the information management server to the information processing device 604 (an example of a delivery processing device) at the check-in facility (arrival base) and the information processing devices 14a and 14b at the check-in facility (arrival base) as necessary. Information about the package is sent. The information processing apparatus 604 is possessed, for example, by a transporter in the facility. An information processing apparatus 604 in FIG. 6 corresponds to the information processing apparatus 15 in FIG. The table below shows an example of baggage information about an arriving passenger.
Figure JPOXMLDOC01-appb-T000003

The above table is merely an example, and the information processing apparatus 604 can acquire other information associated (linked) with the package ID, name, and the like via the information management server as necessary. . The other information is, for example, a BOX code described later with reference to FIG. 7A. A more detailed flow will be described later with reference to FIGS. 7A, 7B, and 8A.

The carrier who has obtained the passenger arrival information by the information processing device 604 transfers the passenger's baggage that has already arrived at the airport in the embodiment of the present invention to the check-in counters 605a to 605c of the appropriate carrier. Carried or carried in, and the baggage carried or carried in is checked in at each carrier.
The carrier can also hand over the baggage directly to the passenger at the request of the passenger. In this case, the location information of the baggage to be delivered can also be acquired via the information processing device 604. The location information is information indicating a BOX in which baggage to be delivered is stored, for example.

FIG. 7A shows the overall business flow concept in the baggage management system according to the embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, an airport is assumed as the check-in facility (arrival base), and the baggage of one or more groups to be checked in at the consignment is sorted by country, group (team in the case of a team), and flight. The These sorts can be appropriately handled according to passengers' demands, and various sort management is possible.

In FIG. 7A, (1) and (2) show business outlines at the departure base. In (1), cargo is received, but in one embodiment of the present invention, the management number at the time of receipt of the package is managed based on the AD card number (AD number) of the player and / or the slip number of the package. Alternatively, the management number at the time of receipt of the package can be managed as a new management number corresponding to the player's AD card number (AD number) and / or the package slip number.
In (2) of the figure, the package slip shown in FIG. 5B is affixed to the received package. This package table is scanned by a scanner or the like, sorted for each flight, and stored in a carry (or pallet) called a BOX. Identification information called a BOX code is also attached to the BOX by attaching a barcode, and which package is stored in which BOX is also read by reading with a scanner or the like. These pieces of information are transmitted to the information management server, and are managed in association with the server.

In (3) and (4) of FIG. 7A, a scene is shown in which passengers who have arrived at the baggage that arrived at the arrival base individually pick up the baggage. In one embodiment of the present invention, the management number at the temporary storage location where the package is temporarily stored at the arrival site is managed based on a slip number, a BOX code, an RFID code attached to an AD card, or the like. The Alternatively, the management number at the temporary storage location can be managed as a new management number corresponding to a slip number, a BOX code, an RFID code, or the like.

In this way, the desired baggage can be picked up efficiently.

In (5) of FIG. 7A, the baggage remaining in the BOX is delivered to a check-in counter or the like for each carrier. Since baggage is sorted for each flight in the BOX, it is possible to carry it in BOX units, so convenience in transportation is also high.

FIG. 7B shows an operation example of the baggage management system according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7B shows a passenger consisting of an individual or a group, the passenger's baggage, a management server (information management server 11), a terminal of a baggage carrier at the arrival base (information processing devices 15 and 604), a check These actions are summarized from the viewpoint of exchanging information with in-house facilities (airlines at airports, etc.).
Information processing apparatuses (PCs 14a and 14b in FIG. 1) are also installed in the check-in facility, but these information processing apparatuses are not an essential component of the baggage management system according to the embodiment of the present invention.

At time t1 to t2 in FIG. 7B, typically all or part of passenger information (user management information) such as information for identifying an individual from an identification medium (101a, 102a) of an individual or group at the departure base. Is read by the reader terminals (12a, 12b) (step S701). Here, when the passenger is a group, information on the group to which the individual passenger belongs is also read. You may comprise so that passenger information may be acquired by the reference on an information management server.

When the read information is transmitted to the management server 11 at time t2, the management server 11 requests information input (size, weight, etc.) regarding baggage (time t3). Therefore, information relating to baggage at the departure point is input, transmitted and registered to the management server 11 (time t4, step S702). The details of the registration contents are as described with reference to FIG. 5A and the like.

From time t4 to t5, the passenger information and the baggage information transmitted to the management server are linked (step S703). Specifically, a table information link process via a common key (identification information for specifying an individual or an organization, etc.) is adopted, and a technique adopted in a normal relational database can be used.

At time t6 in FIG. 7B, baggage departs from the departure base toward the check-in base earlier than the group or individual, and then at time t7, the group or individual also departs from the departure base toward the check-in base.
Although not shown, departure information may be transmitted to the information management server at each of times t6 and t7 and managed in the server. Departure information is information indicating who and which packages have departed at what time and where.

At time t8 in FIG. 7B, the baggage arrives at the check-in base earlier than the group or the individual. At this time, baggage arrival information is transmitted to the information management server via a leader terminal or an information processing device (not shown), and is managed by the server (step S704). The baggage arrival information in this case includes at least a part of the baggage information described with reference to FIG. 5A, the arrival date and / or the arrival location (airport, hotel), and the like.
In one embodiment of the present invention, baggage that arrives at the check-in base earlier than the passenger is stored and managed in a temporary storage place until the arrival of the passenger as the owner.

Next, at time t9, the group (or individual) arrives at the check-in base. During time t9 to t10, all or part of passenger information (user management information) such as information for identifying an individual is read by the leader terminal (13a, 13b) from the identification medium (101b, 102b) of the individual or group. (Step S705). Here, when the passenger is a group, information on the group to which the individual belongs is also read. Information regarding the organization to which the individual belongs may be configured to be acquired by reference on the information management server.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the passenger information of an individual who is registered in the responsible person information (responsible person) is read (or inquired on the information management server). It can also be controlled to determine that the entire organization to which the person belongs has arrived. In particular, since organizations such as athletes in sports are strictly managed, in the case of arriving in a group, it is often acceptable to consider the arrival of the entire group by reading the passenger information of the responsible person Because. In this case, reader reading (step S705) will be completed almost instantly. You may comprise so that the passenger information of a responsible person may be read by the inquiry on an information management server.

At time t10 in FIG. 7B, the read information is transmitted as arrival information to the information management server and managed by the server (step S706). The baggage arrival information in this case includes at least part of information recorded in the identification medium, arrival date and / or arrival location, and the like.

From time t10 to t11, the information management server extracts the arrival status of the baggage based on the reception of the group (or individual) arrival information (step S707), and the extracted baggage information is transferred from the server to the baggage carrier. Is notified to the terminal 15 or the like possessed by (time t11, step S708a). This notification is a delivery instruction indicating that the baggage that has already arrived at the arrival base is to be delivered to a reception counter (or a bonded area in the case of an airport or the like) in the check-in base.
In addition, this is not an indispensable process, but an advance notice to the effect that baggage will be delivered to the receiving counter is notified to an information processing terminal (information processing devices 14a and 14b in FIG. 1) in the corresponding receiving counter. It is good also (step S708b).

From time t12 to t13, if there is a request from the passenger to the baggage manager, the individual baggage is delivered via the baggage location (location) notification described with reference to FIG. 7A (step S709a). Alternatively, the baggage carrier moves the baggage to be delivered from the temporary storage location to the cargo reception counter (step S709b).

In one embodiment of the present invention, at time t13, baggage check-in processing is started at the cargo receiving counter (step S710). At time t14, the check-in process for the arriving passenger is started (step S711). In another embodiment, the check-in process for an arriving passenger may be started before the check-in process for baggage, or they may be processed almost simultaneously.

FIG. 8A shows a detailed operation example of the baggage management system according to the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8A particularly explains in detail an example of the operation flow of the management server from step S704 to step S708a (or step S708b) of FIG. 7B, and the leader terminal and information processing apparatus at the check-in site.
The operation flow in FIG. 8A is described from the viewpoint of the information management server.

In step S801 in FIG. 8A, when the information management server starts checking (group or individual arrival), the process proceeds to step S802, and it is determined whether or not the above arrival information (information corresponding to step S706) has been received. . If arrival information has not been received (in the case of No), the process returns to step S802, but if Yes, the process proceeds to step S803. The routine that returns No in step S802 and returns to step S802 again is a so-called arrival information reception wait (interrupt wait) state.

In step S803, the individual or group that has arrived is confirmed from the received arrival information. In step S803, even if the passenger is a group passenger, the arrival confirmation of all passengers belonging to the group is confirmed by reading an identification medium such as an AD card. Or it is good also as making it the arrival of the whole group by the arrival confirmation of the person in charge or representative of the group. In step S804, baggage information of the individual or group that has arrived is extracted. In this case, when a group arrives, baggage information for all individuals belonging to the group is extracted all at once or individually.
Then, the process proceeds to step S805.

In step S805, the arrival status of the baggage extracted in the previous step is confirmed, and if all have arrived, the process proceeds to step S806, and a delivery instruction for delivering the baggage stored in the temporary storage location to the receipt counter. Is transmitted to the information processing devices 15 and 604.

Here, although not shown in step S806, all baggage has arrived, but if there are some members who have not arrived at the present time among the group members, The baggage other than the baggage of the arriving passenger may be handed over to the receiving counter and a notification to that effect may be given.

On the other hand, in the case of No in step S805, the process proceeds to step S807, and a notification of notification that part or all of the baggage has not arrived at the check-in base is performed. In this case, the contact information can be notified not only to the information processing apparatus 15 but also to the reader terminals 13a and 13b.

Next, the process proceeds to step S808, and it is determined whether or not to end the check related to this flow. When step S808 is Yes, it progresses to step S809 and this flow is complete | finished. If step S808 is No, the process returns to step S802 and the same processing is continued.

FIG. 8B shows an example of a data table for each baggage managed by the information management server of the baggage management system according to the embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 8B, 850 is a record number, 851 is flight information, 852 is the flight date of the flight, and 853 is the flight time of the flight. Further, 854 is information for identifying the individual of the baggage owner (for example, the identification number of the AD card if the individual is a sports player), 855 is the name of the baggage owner (recipient), and 856 is Baggage owner's country, 857 is the participation code of the baggage owner (if the owner is an athlete), 858 is the baggage invoice number, 859 is the baggage size information, 860 is the baggage weight information, 861 Is status information such as baggage storage status.

These information can be aggregated as appropriate for each country, each team, and each flight. By using these pieces of information, for example, it becomes easy to aggregate excess baggage weights for groups and teams and present them to group representatives and carriers (airlines).
