Abstract

The invention relates to a barbell arrangement provided with rotary damping depending on the velocity to limit the rotation of the weights on the bar using a compact rotary damper with expanding fluid. The invention consists of a bar with rotating cuffs connected to same using rotary dampers with shafts that are hollow and filled with expanding fluid. The device responds to changes in the velocity of rotation of the weights mounted on the cuffs, thereby providing variable rotary control.
