Abstract
The present invention relates to a video signal decoding method and a device therefor. A decoding method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: determining whether a sample within a reference sample area located in the vicinity of a current block is available for intra prediction of the current block, so as to divide the reference sample area into an available reference sample area and an unavailable reference sample area; acquiring an intra prediction mode of a neighboring block of the current block; and acquiring a most probable intra prediction mode list of the current block on the basis of whether the intra prediction mode of the neighboring block uses a sample of the unavailable reference sample area.
