Description

Shaving unit containing shaving foam/gel
The Related Art The invention relates to a shaving unit generally used for cutting undesired body hairs.
The invention particularly relates to a shaving unit which has a disposable or replaceable razor blade and contains shaving foam/gel in its handle part.
Background of the Invention Shaving razor blade is the tool invented by King Camp Gillette and used for shaving. Under influence of urbanization, razor blades offering practical use have become an important part of daily life. Razor blades are used together with gel or foam put onto the area to be shaved and softening the hair to make it easy to shave before shaving.
Today products such as gel, foam etc. used together with razor blades are packaged and sold separately. This case means user's carrying extra more weight and volume than the need, and also the user's spending more money, time and effort to get such products. In addition to extra packaging cost, it also causes damage to environment as a result of packaging wastes occurring additionally.
When the literature is searched, various embodiments relating to the said shaving razor blade units are seen. One of them is a utility model entitled "shaving razor blade unit having self adjustable trimmer and application numbered TR2014/01 134. The abstract of the invention reads as "The invention is a shaving razor machine blade unit and it is characterized in that it consists of a main protector on the front part and a body containing a main cover on the upper surface on the rear part. One or more than one main shaving blades is/are located between the main protector and main cover. A trimmer assembly capable to have axial motion is located on the rear part of the body and it has a blade side." The application discloses various novelties concerning the shaving blade units. However, the disclosed novelties fail to eliminate the above mentioned disadvantages.
Another embodiment concerning the said shaving blade units is the utility model entitled "Razor blade with suction assembly and replaceable cartridge" with application number TR2012/07757. The abstract of the invention reads as "Suction assembly, replaceable cartridge shaving razor blade works as a small vacuum assembly and the beards cut by blade and foam pass through a spiral pipe and finally are collected in cartridge. Replaceable cartridge is removed and replaced with new one after each shaving. The power supply source provided inside shaving razor blade arm is removed whenever desired and recharged by recharging unit and re-fitted. Shaving razor blade aims at providing shaving at any time, at any place whenever desired in a couple of minutes without water and time loss." The novelties provided under the said invention do not eliminate the said disadvantages in the related art.
In conclusion, developments have been made in shaving units and, therefore, new embodiments eliminating the above disadvantages and offering solutions to existing systems are needed.
Purpose of the Invention The present invention relates to a shaving unit meeting the needs mentioned above, eliminating all disadvantages and providing some additional advantages.
Purpose of the invention is to eliminate purchasing materials such as gel or foam needed for shaving together with shaving razor blade separately as well as necessity to carry materials more than needed. Another purpose of the invention is to combine the shaving gel adequate for number of uses of a disposable shaving razor blade with various mechanisms and thus bring it to one shaving razor blade volume and thus facilitate use of products needed for shaving all together.
A further purpose of the invention is to contribute environmental cleaning by means of reducing foam and gel package wastes. The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be understood better in the figures given below and the detailed description by reference to the figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made based on the figures and taking into account the detailed descriptions.

Detailed Description of the Invention In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the shaving unit (1 ) being subject of this invention have been disclosed solely for the purpose of better understanding of the subject and described in a manner not causing any restrictive effect.
The invention relates to a shaving unit (1 ) consisting of a shaving razor blade unit (30) containing a blade (32), blade holder side walls (33) and body connection apparatus (31 ), and a body (10) providing direction of the said shaving razor blade unit (30). In addition, the invention consists of a tube (20) containing foam or gel and designed for placement inside the said body (10) or connected to shaving razor blade unit (30) instead of the body (10).
Figure -1 is a front perspective view of demounted shaving unit (1 ). The figure shows the shaving razor blade unit (30) providing achievement of shaving operation. The front part of the shaving razor blade unit (30) contains blades (32) providing cutting of beards and hairs. The blades (32) are fixed onto blade holder side walls (33) of the shaving razor blade unit (30). Blade holder side walls (33) provides fixation of blades (32) at proper angle. Upper part of the shaving razor blade unit (30) has body connection apparatus (31 ) providing connection to the said body (10). Body connection (13) is mounted onto body connection tip (31 ). Body connection (13) is a connection member in conical prism structure. Body connection (13) functions as bridge between body connection apparatus (31 ) and the body (10). The body (10) is made of hard and flexible plastic in cylindrical structure. It is the part keeping the tube (20) containing foam or gel in the shaving unit (1 ). The body (10) is also an apparatus enabling holding of the shaving razor blade unit (30) and control of it by hand. As seen in the figure, tube (20) containing foam or gel is located under the body (10). The said tube (20) is manufactured in a manner fully fitting into the body (10). Tube base (23) is provided under lower part of the tube (20). Tube base (23) is also designed in such manner that it fully fits the body base (1 1 ).
Figure -2 is a rear perspective view of demounted shaving unit (1 ). The figure shows the above mentioned body (10) in details. The very lower part of the body (10) has body base (1 1 ) on end of body connection (13). Body base (1 1 ) is one of the members keeping the tube (20) fixed by means of matching the said tube base (23). According to the figure, side holders (14) on right and left side are shown. Since side holders (14) are made from hard plastic of flexible structure, they flex and trap the said tube (20) inside the body (10). Upper holder (12) is located on the upper part of the body (10). Upper holder (12) prevents upward (Z) motion of the tube (20) trapped inside the body (10). Upper holder (12) is also one of the structures keeping the tube (20) inside the body (10).
Tube (20) is located on the lower part of the body (10). Tube top (21 ) is located in the upper part of the said tube (20). Tube top (21 ) matches the upper holder (12) and prevents upward (Z) movement of the tube (20) inside the body (10). Tube top (21 ) also surrounds the foam-gel removing mechanism (22). The said foam-gel removing mechanism (22) is the mechanism providing removal of the foam or gel put in the said tube (20) from the tube (20). The foam or gel comes out from the mechanism tip (221 ).
In order to place the said tube (20) into the said body (10), the tube (20) is moved in direction of fitting onto base (X). After the tube (20) sits fully on the base (1 1 ), it is moved in direction of fitting tube onto body (Y). Then the holders (14) flexing after applying some force are trapped into the tube (20).
Figure 3 shows a perspective view of mounted shaving unit (1 ). After completion of mounting procedure in order to provide removal of foam in the tube (20), a force is exerted onto the said foam-gel removing mechanism (22) in foam removing direction (T). When the foam-gel removing mechanism (22) is released from the force effect, it moves in recovery direction (Z) and returns to its former position. This procedure is repeated until desired foam is removed from the said mechanism tip (221 ).
Figure 4 shows an alternative embodiment of shaving unit (1 ) of the invention. In this embodiment, the foam or gel containing tube (20) is directly connected to shaving unit (30). In this embodiment, the tube (20) is used instead of the body (10) and functions as handle. Connection of the tube (20) to the shaving unit (30) is provided by body connection (13). Removal of the foam or gel in the tube (20) is provided by means of foam-gel removing mechanism.
By help of the embodiments disclosed under the invention, the necessity to carry foam or gel together with shaving unit separately is eliminated and all of the said problems in the related art have been solved.
