Description
DESCRIPTION
DEVICE THAT WORKS INTEGRATEDLY WITH ELECTRONIC LABEL AND/OR BARCODE AND ALARM AND/OR LOCK SECURED PAYMENT SYSTEMS AND
EXISTING PAYMENT SYSTEMS Technical Field
The present invention relates to an interactive data collection and payment system which includes a device that works interactively with existing and future card, non- contact, mobile etc. payment systems and with barcode, bandroll, code, etc.
applications. The device and system performs operations that are done in stores and markets with labor force such as payment, data collection, stock control, price inquiry, alarm and/or lock release (20) systematically and cost-effectively, rapidly, secure and real-time.
More specifically, the invention relates to a central database and an interactive product information apparatus which sends its location instantaneouslyvia a central network to a central database positioned on a product which enables on the customer side; a customer-side price inquiry, payment, personal information and transaction handling; and on the user's store side enables; instantaneous product monitoring, inventory tracking, sales price changes, customer identification, time saving and solves security operations systematically and economically, quickly, securely and in the current format; which is compatible with all communication, payment, bar code, 2d-barcode systems.
Background Of The Invention
Prior art includes purchases and payments of the products are made at the payment locations which are located at the stores or markets that the products are being presentated and sold. In this process sceurity is provided with barcodes, square barcodes or alarm mechanism and entrances and exits are equipped with additional control equipments. Payments are being made with the help of staff of the store or market and in busy days overcrowding and long waiting times can occur at the payment locations.
This can lead to errors and mistakes due to customer complaints and hasty processing which leads to increase of staff numbers and other additional costs.
In addition, it is troublesome and time consuming to monitor the present situation of the product stock control especially in large stores in the present, and the absence of the product and instant follow up of the stock situation constitute an interruption cause. Conventional paper/electronic barcodes does not provide payment and/or return information and online alarm/lock solution. Also customer does not have access to information about the product directly from a single device.
When the consumer wants to get the product, he needs to go to the payment locations and wait for the payment queue. The alarm lock is released by the sales representative with manual control.
In some cases, customers may opt out of purchasing the product if they do not want to go through the process.
The conventional system also has the risk of loss or stealing of the products since the current alarm/lock release system has no approval mechanism. For the price updates and product content updates the seller needs to print barcodes and labels in different languages. The labor force and supply of materials such as papers increase the costs.
With the aid of the additional systems positioned at the exit of the store for security purposes gives warning at the exit of the product. There is no other way to monitor the product that left the store.
These systems do not monitor the product on which they are positioned within a defined area, but only warn the user if they are out of the area.
There is no information on the alarm systems used and does not contain information about the product in which it is located. The product works by creating contact points without the cost and information of the product, so it is not known on which product the system is.
After sales, the alarm system is dismounted and removed from the product after payment with additional systems located at payment points. This process is performed manually through the payment point staff. The fact that the alarm / lock solution is not an approval based process, it increases the risk of loss and stealing. In some cases, due to the inadequacy of the warning systems used in existing high-
priced products, additional security importance is used and they are exhibited in lockers and lockers in personnel control and are sold with supervised personnel support upon request.
In addition to security measures, entrance and exit are controlled by security personnel.
Purchasing and information about the sold product can not be collected and the stock status is tried to keep under control through additional systems.
In addition to the payment points present, product inquiry terminals are established in the store. Stock and store product counts are carried out manually by long and troublesome processes annualy, monthly and in some places weekly.
In the current practice, staff assigned at certain times collect stock and store countings manually. The collected data is transferred to the computer environment manually. According to the obtained data, the stock status, sales figures, the amount of the illegal products, the order list, and the sales information of the sold products are created and reported.
Product sales quantities, the products that need to be campaigned, the most and least sold products, the constitution of order lists, the quantity of defective products or defective product numbers are very long and troublesome in the current system to determine.
The data obtained with existing systems are collected with a costly and long process. In addition to cost and time loss, gathering and transferring the information to the computer takes a long time and causes the loss of data currency.
With the development of information, communication and transportation technologies in today's society, people are shopping more often and the buying reaction can change rapidly.
The rapid increase in the human population is accompanied by the intense demand of stores especially in large cities like Istanbul, which increases the need for staff incrementation and changes. Due to the intense and frequent changes experienced in sales, customer satisfaction and rapid reaction to failures can not be provided.
Because conventional systems can not keep up with the pace of such changes, costly and valuable information becomes useless.
The conventional method does not allow rapid reaction process in case of need fpr simultaneously obtaining the technical information about the product, the position at the store or the warehouse, the details of the customer portfolio, the product preference and status information while maintaining them up-to-date.
The fact that data collection activities related to buildings and households cause high costs and time, the inability to effectively retrieve all the services of government or private organizations from the dwelling of all citizens, and the necessity of introducing an interactive system of data collection and identification, which is the inadequacy of existing techniques.
Summary Of The Invention
The object of the invention is to provide a device, an application and a data collection system that integrates with the current and future payment methods which enable healthy, up-to-date, economical and fast data collection of information, payment / return, stock about the product which is much needed in the stores where the presentation and sales are made.
Another object of the invention is to provide a data collection system which works interactively with a network which is connected with the electronic payment and unlocking system located at the store.
