Abstract

La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de verrouillage avec une protection contre une ouverture involontaire de fenêtre ou de porte. Le dispositif peut comprendre au moins un ensemble de verrouillage adapté pour montage sur le côté intérieur du châssis interne de la fenêtre avec fourniture d'une position verrouillée et une position déverrouillée actionnée par une poignée coulissante et transmettant le déplacement de la plaque de verrouillage avec la poignée coulissante. L'ensemble de verrouillage vient en prise avec au moins une rainure de verrouillage adaptée pour montage dans un châssis de fenêtre pour fixer la fenêtre dans une position fermée et verrouillée. Le boîtier d'ensemble de verrouillage peut avoir une barrière s'étendant vers l'extérieur depuis la surface inférieure qui contribue efficacement au blocage de l'accès à la plaque de verrouillage à partir de l'état normalement exposé lorsqu'il est dans la position verrouillée.
