Abstract

Provided are a base station for LAA transmission in cellular communications, and a method and a device for UE. In a first step, the base station monitors, in a first time window of a first carrier, to ascertain transmission of a usable signal in the current subframe of said first carrier; in a second step, a signaling is sent on a second carrier indicating N symbols used for transmission of a usable signal in said current subframe of said first carrier; in a third step, a first usable signal is sent in the current sub-frame of the first carrier, said first usable signal occupying the N symbols. The present invention allows LTE LAA to maintain the same fairness as Wifi while at the same time fully utilizing air interface resources. Additionally, the present invention remains as far as possible compatible with LTE systems.
