Abstract

The present invention relates to a serving package suitable for serving a ready-to-eat heated food product such as a deep-fried food product, such as a croquette, the serving package comprising: - at least one side wall (2) for at least partially enveloping the food product, preferably as seen from above, - a support wall (3, 4) for supporting the food product from the underside during use, wherein: - at least a part of the walls (2, 3, 4) is manufactured from a gas-insulated material for the purpose of providing an insulating effect between the food product and the hand of a user.
