Abstract
This invention relates to a slat cutting apparatus (1) wherein it comprises an adjustment screw (2), a lipping (3), a lipping adjustment drum (4), a clamp screw (5), a lower support mechanism (6), a slat tab supporting point (7), a slat surface supporting point (8) and a lipping point (9).
Description
DESCRIPTION
SLAT CUTTING APPARATUS
TECHNICAL FIELD
This invention relates to a slat cutting apparatus.
PRIOR ART In utility model application numbered 2003/01229, slat cutting machines are mentioned. This invention relates to slat cutting machines used to cut glass slats used in windows in desired length with an angle of 45 degrees. When the machine is operated, initially press pistons enclose the slat between the moulds while fixing and positioning the slat. Movement cylinder draws a frame, a motor arranged on the wedge on the frame and saws on the frame towards a profile and a first saw cuts the profile with an angle of 45 degrees. In addition, a second saw cuts the slat with an angle of 45 degrees aback and two slats of 45 degrees each ready to be combined are obtained.
In utility model application numbered 2005/05383, upper mould-free glass slat fixing and cutting machine is mentioned. In the product of the invention, there is a lower mould on which glass slats to be cut with an angle of 45 degrees are placed. Two glass slats can be positioned on the lower mould simultaneously. In the product of the invention, cylinder shaped press clamps connected to the clamp bearing can move upwards and downwards with the aid of upper press guide spindle and upper press vertical movement cylinder right above.
In patent application numbered 2008/02831, a novel aluminum and PVC slat processing assembly. The invention is a contact slat processing assembly for the surfaces of aluminum and PVC slats which comprises at least one conveyor base, at least one cutting unit, at least one cutting unit conveyor system, at least one mould which changes depending on the length, geometrical shape and similar characteristic properties of the slat to be processed and which is located on said conveyor base.
When prior art is examined, apparatuses specially prepared for each slat in current machines are found. With the invention, however, profile cutting machines are enabled to cut slats and the cutting of all slat shapes can be provided with a single apparatus instead of different apparatuses in accordance with each slat shape.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The aim of this invention is to enable that all slat shapes can be cut with a single apparatus.
Another aim of the invention is to enable that the profile cutting machines can cut slats.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
"Slat Cutting Apparatus" realized to reach the aim of the invention is shown in accompanying figures in which:

Slat: S
Basically, the invention comprises:
- adjustment screw (2),
- lipping (3),
- lipping adjustment drum (4),
- clamp screw (5),
- lower support mechanism (6),
- slat tab supporting point (7),
- slat surface supporting point (8) and
- lipping point (9).
Slat cutting apparatus (1) of the invention is optionally mounted on single head cutting machine. With the invention, abovementioned single head cutting machine is enabled to cut slat.
Operation mechanism of the invention is arranged as follows.
The slat to which cutting operation is to be applied is placed on the slat cutting apparatus (1) and it is transmitted as seen in Figure 4 and Figure 5.
The adjustment screw (2) is tightened or relieved as seen in Figure 3 for the slat (S) to be leant on from above.
Thus, the lipping (3) moves away from or towards the slat (S) as seen in Figure 4.
The lipping adjustment drum (4) is brought to the lipping level by being rotated in determined directions and leans on the lipping point (9), thereby supporting the slat from the lower part as well. In the last step, the slat is fixed on slat lower support mechanism (9) with the clamp screw (5) capable of moving in movement directions indicated in Figure 4.
In the invention the slat tab supporting point (7) supports the slat (S) tabs and slat surface supporting point (8) supports the slat (S) surfaces.
A variety of applications of the invention can be improved and the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein, it is essentially as indicated in the claims.
Claims
The invention relates to a slat cutting apparatus (1) wherein it comprises an adjustment screw
(2), a lipping
(3), a lipping adjustment drum
(4), a clamp screw
(5), a lower support mechanism (6), a slat tab supporting point (7), a slat surface supporting point (8) and a lipping point (9).
A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to Claim 1 characterized by an adjustment screw (2) enabling the leaning of the slat (S) from above.
A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to Claim 2 characterized by an adjustment screw (2) enabling the lipping (3) to be close to or away from the slat (S).
A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to Claim 1 or Claim 2 characterized by a lipping adjustment drum (4) enabling the support of the slat (S) from the lower part.
A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to Claim 1 or Claim 2 characterized in that the lipping adjustment drum (4) enabling the slat (S) to be brought to the lipping point (9) is rotated in directions indicated in Figure 4.
6. A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to any of the claims above characterized by the lipping point (9) enabling the support of the slat (S) from the lower part.
7. A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to any of the claims above characterized by a clamp screw (5) having the ability to rotate in directions indicated in Figure 3 and enabling the fixing of the slat (S) to the lower support mechanism (6).
8. A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to any of the claims above characterized by a slat tab supporting point (7) enabling the fixing of the slat (S) tabs.
9. A slat cutting apparatus (1) according to any of the claims above characterized by a slat surface supporting point (8) enabling the fixing of the slat (S) surfaces.
