Abstract

The invention relates to an electrical engine comprising a housing provided with an opening (21) having a diaphragm (131) that forms a barrier to liquid water located between the inside and the outside of said housing but is pervious to water vapor. The stator is liquid-cooled, and the engine comprises an inner fan (12) for generating a forced air flow inside the engine. The diaphragm (131) is located in an area where the forced air flow exposes the latter on the inside to pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure.
