Description

Wickelvorrichtung  winder
The invention relates to a winding device for winding a moving material web with at least one knife for separating the material web in the web direction into a plurality of partial material webs and with a folding device for folding over the edges of the partial material webs.
Such a winding device is known from US 8,221, 298 B2 and is used in particular for the winding of stretch films.
Stretch films serve to secure and package individual goods, for example on pallets. The goods are wrapped with the stretch film, so that the goods are joined together using the self-adhesive stretch film. It has been found that the edges of stretch film are often the starting point for a film break during the Umwickeins on the pallet. Even slight damage to the edge of a stretch film roll can render it unusable, which is particularly critical in handheld film applications. Such damage occurs, for example, when the finished wound roll of a stretch film when transporting incorrectly or falls to the ground.
It is also known that the stretch film becomes more resistant to damage by folding or folding the edges prior to being wound onto a roll and consequently has fewer breaks. However, flipping the edges also causes the edges of the film roll to become impermissibly thick and hard in the case of edge-to-edge winding. When folding the edges, it is therefore necessary to move the edges of the film on the roll side cyclically. This can be done for example by a lateral oscillation of the coil or by means of angularly movable guide rollers after the single-use section.
However, the reversing or oscillating of the film web before winding can in turn produce wrinkles, which in turn can impair the function of the film. On this basis, it is an object of the invention to provide a winding device that allows the simplest possible and wrinkle-free winding a web with folded edges.
This object is achieved by an oscillating device, with which the at least one knife is movable transversely to the web direction.
An essential finding of the invention is therefore to oscillate the cutter bar used for the benefit section transversely to the film direction. The devices for folding over the edges after the benefit cut are either fixed to the same cutter bar and perform correspondingly the same oscillatory movement as the knife, or they are attached to a bar following the cutter bar, which performs an oscillatory movement synchronized with the cutter bar. As a result, the folded edges on the resulting stationary winding are laid laterally and a winding with reduced edge structure is possible. The stroke and frequency of the movement are adjustable here and can be adjusted as needed, depending on the web speed, film thickness and increasing roll diameter, so that an optimal edge geometry is created.
There are different variants for the subsequent transfer device for producing the folded side edge. A variant consists in that one transfer device is provided per folded edge. Each of these Umlegevorrichtungen can be used either directly next to each other or in succession. It is also conceivable that the devices for folding over the edges for starting to dive centrally into the cut - so then have an influence take both edges - and be changed in position or shape so that they only have influence on an edge when dipping by a suitable kinematics. This can be done for adjacent edges either simultaneously or sequentially. Another variant of a transfer device is to produce a strip cut of several benefits and to suck. The strip cutout would then already made a distance between the two edges, which makes the separate folding of the respective edges possible. Compared with the prior art, the invention has numerous advantages.
The methods known in the prior art for lateral oscillation of the folded edges are often very expensive, since each of the benefits must be individually oscillated after the benefit cut. For this purpose, additional facilities are required, which are usually expensive, expensive and maintenance-intensive.
In addition, according to the solution of the invention, there is no limitation on the utility width and the number of benefits.
According to a preferred embodiment it is provided that the oscillating device comprises a driven belt to which the at least one blade is attached. By way of example, the belt may be an endless toothed belt which is moved by a gear driven by an electric motor.
According to a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the oscillating device comprises a knife bar driven by a linear motor, to which the at least one knife is fastened.
In diesen zeigen: Preferably, a control unit for controlling the oscillating device is also provided. About the control device can thus all possible Bewegungsbzw. Patterns are specified. In particular, it is also conceivable that the thickness profile of the wound roll is constantly measured and depending on the measured thickness profile, the oscillating device is driven such that results in a uniform as possible thickness profile. The invention can be applied particularly advantageously to the winding of stretch films which have been produced on a cast film installation or on a blown film installation.
