Description
AUTOMATIC HUMIDIFICATION PALLET
SOILS OF HOUSE PLANTS
The pallet relates to a device for automatically root moistening the soil of indoor plants. It is used mainly as a stand for pots or boxes used for growing decorative and other crops, and can also be an integral part of such a pot or box.
Similar devices are known, for example, A device for growing plants with automatic soil moistening according to the patent SU 1678192AZ of September 15, 1991 (Bulletin of Russian Patents Jfe 34, 1991, MP A01G 9/02), which is a pot with double hermetic walls, between which there is water poured through an opening with a stopper at the top of the pot, the inside of which is filled with a substrate, and at the bottom there is an opening for supplying water to the substrate.
At the time of pouring water in such a device, the substrate is overmoistened, which can lead to the death of the plant, the dimensions and weight of the device are significant, and the design is relatively complicated.
A device for irrigation of plants is also known according to the patent JP10-2955208A dated 10.11.1998, IPC A01G 27/00, consisting of a tank in which there is a wooden pot with a plant and a vessel with water mounted vertically by means of an arm, bracket or threaded sleeve. The vessel has a hole at the bottom, and a pipeline is attached to it at the top, the lower free end of which touches the water layer in the tank, not reaching the bottom. When water is consumed by the plant and its level is lower than the end of the pipeline, the tank is replenished.
The design of this device contains many details, and replenishing it with water is not easy.
The device of JP10-295208A is the closest analogue of the invention.
The purpose of the proposed device is to simplify the design and facilitate the process of refueling. This is achieved due to the fact that the pan with a plant in a pot and a water tank is made in the form of a plate to which a glass is sealed, at the same level as it is. A water tank is, for example, a bottle inserted in a glass upside down. Between the neck of the bottle and the bottom of the glass there is a gap of at least two millimeters. Inside, the dimensions and shape of the glass correspond to the neck of the bottle, and at the bottom there is an opening connecting the volume of the glass to the volume of the plate.
3). SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) The photo shows a prototype pallet (Fig. 1), in the drawings - a longitudinal section (Fig. 2) and possible versions (Fig. 3).
The pallet (Fig. 2) consists of a plate 1 and a glass 2, with an opening 3. In the glass there is a bottle 4. On a plate 1 there is a pot 5 with an opening 6 in the bottom containing soil and a plant.
3). For automatic soil moistening, the bottle is filled with water, after which, having previously been plugged, for example, with a finger, it is turned upside down, brought up to the glass 2 and, removing a finger, quickly so that water does not spill, is inserted into the glass. From the glass 2, water through the hole 3 enters the plate 1 and through the hole 6 in the bottom of the pot 5 moistens the soil. It does not spill out, since it is locked with a water lock at the neck of the bottle and is held in it by atmospheric pressure. The higher the boot is raised relative to the bottom of the glass, the thicker the layer of water in the cart and the more moist the soil is. The water level can be changed by inserting inserts in a glass of different thickness 7. But in any case, the gap between the neck of the bottle and the bottom of the glass should not be less than two millimeters. Otherwise, the capillary force of wetting the liquid (water) will not allow air to penetrate into the bottle, and water to leave it. As the plant consumes moisture, the water layer in the garbage decreases, air enters the bottle, and water accordingly enters the tray, and its level becomes the same. In this way, constant soil moisture is automatically maintained. It is easy to observe the flow rate of water from a transparent bottle and replenish it in time. To have a greater supply of water, you can increase the number of bottles, or use a large container, for example, a metal canister 8 with a pipe 9, the lower end of which is placed in the glass of the pallet, similar to bottle 4 (Fig. 3).
A prototype pallet was made and tested in action, the usefulness of such a device was confirmed. It provides plants with moisture for a long time. So, for example, a bottle of 0.75 L capacity provided the plant with water for three weeks.
